The Bonsai came in, in an undesirable state, but maybe it was waiting to flower into something beautiful. (but never found out!) My flower died pretty quickly, tried to follow the instructions as best as possible. It's been many months now to make sure to see if it's okay or not, but it's pretty dead at this point now. Rating it 2 stars because I received something! So there's that! ... show more

Sent bonsai as a housewarming gift. Plant was dead on arrival, very little green left on plant upon arrival, mostly brown, all leaves falling off. Watched the plant over the first 2-3 days after they received it and all leaves had turned brown.

Packaged super well! Didn't lose dirt or become uprooted during transport. This is a perfect tiny Bonsai azalea plant that was growing new sprouts even during shipping! It arrived in excellent condition and is thriving on my deck. The leaves are very healthy and the color is a deep vibrant green on the mature leaves with lighter color on the newest sprouts. Can't wait until flowering season, as I'm certain it will blossom quite well, as healthy as it is at this point. :D I will definitely not shop for Bonsai from anyone else but Brussels in the future! That's twice they have exceeded my expectations. Very Happy! :D ... show more

Nice plant, but it died. No matter how much watering I did or didn't do, it shriveled up and died within a month. Pretty disappointing mother's day gift.
