Description

A towering tribute constructed for the most daring of little climbers: the Mount McKinley. Whether they scale the rock climbing wall, scramble up the step ladder, or pull themselves up the rope ladder, your kids will feel like they reached the highest peaks of this play set. You don’t need an off-road vehicle to feel like you’re cruising along the Rockies — the open wooden plank structure of the upper outdoor playhouse, along with its bright green tarp roof, telescope and steering wheel, transport every imagination to a mountain range oasis. Taking a quick slide back down from the summit, you’ll store your nature souvenirs in the toy storage box and then finish your adventure on the belt swings or swing trapeze bar.

  • Amazing Company!
Honestly never had a company this great to work with. We laid out a huge tarp and organized all the boards. One board had a big split so we called the company and a new board arrived in less than 24 hours!! Following assembly was easy. Took 2 of us just under 8 hours not including a break for lunch (and me honestly not doing a lot). This is also with toddler “helping”. While he picked one kid up from school I organized hardware pieces by steps I put it in little plastic cups and numbered them. After that we breezed thru the remainder. Looks great, feel solid, and kids love it. Our yard was not super level but we figured out where we needed to level exactly while building it and did it as we went. Only real problem is now the three year old refuses to go inside for a nap!! I do plan to seal the wood at some point but right now it’s beautiful. ... show more

  • Good for our 4 yo
Easy assembly (took two people 6 hours) with well written directions. We did put wood sealer on all the wood before assembling. I would recommend buying the 1 time sealer instead of the 3x application (what we did). Our 4 yo loves it. It is well made and very sturdy.

  • Almost perfect
So to start, I am almost finished putting it together. I may update a picture after it's completely done. I would have given it 5 stars, except some places did not have predrilled holes like they should have, and some of the predrilled holes were drilled in a way that make the bolts or screws just spin and not tighten. I'm a carpenter by hobby, so it wasn't a killer for me. It was just really frustrating and gave me more to figure out. One plank was cracked, but because I do carpentry I was able to immediately go cut another piece of wood and replace the piece that was cracked. These issues were very few, however, and definitely would not dissuade me from buying from this company again. Having to weather seal it myself was actually the most frustrating thing about it. We got it put up on the one good day of the week without rain and I had to stay up till almost midnight to finish so I could wake up early, before my daughter, to seal it before it started raining the next morning. Now for the positive. I had to force my child to stay off of it. She was begging to go out in the rain to climb the rock wall part. I was swinging and hanging on it myself and didn't feel in any way nervous that it would collapse at all. It felt incredibly sturdy and I am very impressed. I replaced one swing because I do not like the type of swings that are included (just a preference). So now I can comfortably swing with my daughter on it. I weigh under 120 and am within the individual weight limit for the swing section of the playset. The picture shows a plank hanging down, but that was a mistake we made while putting it together. We put the plank upside down by accident and it messed up putting the ladder on. So far, it was well worth the money we spent on it. If anything pops up soon, I'll make sure to add. It would just be really nice to have weather treated wood if I bought another set. But I hope I don't have to considering I love this one. Update: Its been 5.5 months now. The swingset is going strong, but creaks really, really loud all he time. It keeps getting louder which makes me concerned that I will have to replace boards and beams. It obviously has not reached that point yet, but the sound is getting louder and louder. Either way, we still absolutely love it and my daughter is still obsessed with it. ... show more

  • Worth the hassle
It took 3 people 8 hours to do. Definitely organize everything first and just know the book will lead you in the wrong direction. We had to take things apart twice to fix it. The directions just aren't the best. Once done it is a beautiful set. Nice size. Definitely won't hold over 160lbs on the climbing net and such. So stick to the suggested age and weight range! Wood us beautiful and I'm not worried about it getting weathered. The swings are nice and adjustable for height in an easy way. My son spends so much time just playing up on the platform. ... show more

  • Its worth the money
Its worth the money, if you follow the online instructions it's easier to follow and understand. And can be installed by one person. Its best to sort all pieces out first.

  • Great for the cost
Was worried because the boxes were destroyed. But everything was there and no broken parts. This swing set will be used for many years. Took 2 of us to put together and took roughly a full day. We love this.

  • Labor Intensive!
Pros: The smiles on our children's faces as they play is absolutely priceless! The family time spent working together to construct the set was awesome! We added the baby swing and the saucer for various age groups of our children. We laid out all of the materials as instructed before we started and only one piece was missing but we were able to drill the correct holes for it to work. All parts were labeled. The youtube video of building this swing set was helpful. Cons: The delivery company CEVA was late delivering the package and gave an all day delivery window of 8am-8pm, time wasted waiting. The packaged was damaged upon arrival and the driver had no idea how it happened. The estimated time of 8 hours was doubled for us (honestly not sure how we could have worked faster than we did); and that was with 3 adults and engineering experience. If possible have at least two battery operated drills. Many of the predrilled holes did not line up so we had to drill lots of holes. Some of the directions were not as clear. Overall very happy with the outcome, looking forward to our children enjoying this for years to come! ... show more
