One of the best purchases I ever made. Strong Sturdy easy to put together. I have had it on my back patio for over a year now and my patio faced directly into the sun from 4PM to 9PM and if you've been to Houston you know how hot that is. this replaced my very expensive awning that lasted 4 years. Had to do a little adjusting but for the money its good to shade my southwest entry door. We will see how it does come winter in northern california.

My patio gets direct sun all morning. That's my favorite time to sit out there, but the sun in my eyes was very harsh. This was easy-ish to assemble and get in place. Plus no need to take it down in bad weather - just roll it up.

So, I bought this twice. One, a year ago and one, now, and the quality has gone down substantially. Look at the pics. The old one has much thicker cloth and better fit and finish of the metallic components. The new one has almost see through cloth and components were much harder to assemble. Well, why would you degrade the good quality of a product, I am note sure. I would have given 5 star to this product a year ago, and it did run well for a year, but this new version is not up to mark.

I love this awning. Got it to put over the catio I built for my cat kiddos. It's perfect! Allows protective shelter for my girls to still enjoy their catio when it's raining out!

I would like to love it but unfortunately the crank doesn't work properly it doesn't grasp at times. I have to hand crank, I did try to treplace but sadly no replacement available...

We got this to reduce the heat from the western sun on our patio. It makes a remarkable difference in the temperature. I really loved the fact that no hardware had to be installed into the patio. It's also very easy to roll up during bad storms, and we definitely get those here in Florida. Time will tell about how long it lasts, but very happy with it now, especially for the price.
