This is one of those items that, when you need, you just really need it! I am a weekend woodworker, and I do occasionally come across a screw which is completely stripped. These extractors are a lifesaver when you have a screw which there's no way that suckers coming out with a screwdriver or wrench. I previously had a very small screw extractor set, which I used until the bits were worn. This set is great because, it comes with a ton of different sizes. This is super simple to use. Simply rethread your screw, then use the corresponding extractor to pull the old screw out. It also comes with a nice storage case, which is great for keeping everything together, and organized. I'm sure they will wear out just as my previous set did over time, but so far they are holding up perfectly.
