I am a machinist,and these are high quality for home and even for a business. I read the reviews and I find whining about the blow formed case very minimal reason.The readable stamped size is very comparable to all taps and dies .Even the high end MSC supplies are not any better at labeling .So get over that too. The way they ship with the taps on the bottom is the reason they fall out. When you get them reverse that and you will be happy for the rest of your days. DO NOT EXPECT THESE TO TAP STAINLESS STEEL. No taps do that very well. Tap oil is a must always. Special tap oil is required for S/S. Even aluminum require a different tap oil than mild steel. Taps break and it is mostly the users fault. If any part of this set is lacking its the handles .My experience with similar handles . The body of these can break , being cast white metal. The blow formed tool organizer, is an insert. Not the case, that is metal.

Cheap case, vacuum formed inside and cheap at that. For me this only works for chasing threads. Pure junk. No engineering involved at all. This must be a Marketing driven company. Who could care less if it works, just make it look good so we can get rid of them. This will cost Amazon around $215 for selling this junk without a warning. I deferred that much from amazon purchases and bought somewhere else. I couldn't use standard size tap drills. The 6mm isn't a tap it's a hole reamer. If you really try you might get a 15% thread in aluminum. Just drill about 2 number sizes over the nominal amount. I'd be embarrassed to sell this set.

Product seems to be nice I haven't used it I just got it today only problem I've got and I think I saw it on here is they really need better packaging for all of the little pieces I do really like the metal case that's nice and I did not know it come with a whole puncher and gloves will update when I use

Taps and dies do the job. Cannot attest to strength/longevity of the product because the set is new. The size markings on the tap shanks are very superficial, in a couple of cases so superficial that they are incomplete. The carrying case is poorly designed. The insert for the various taps is made of a flimsy plastic sheet with depressed size-annotated pockets that house each of the taps. When transported holding the metal case handle, the smaller taps fall out of their pockets heater skelter and end up all over the place, resulting in a waste of time trying to read the poorly marked size stamps on the shank of the tap to place each dislodged one back in its appropriate pocket. For this alone would have returned and replaced the set had I not needed to use it urgently. CEK

The case is terrible. The metal box is a bit flimsy feeling but is probably OK The plastic organizers are awful. I opened the box and the taps and dies were all jumbled in the bottom. I got them mostly reorganized, and bumped it and a bunch got knocked loose again and messed up. Nothing holds them in the flimsy plastic organizer at all. The tools themselves actually seem good. Too bad I don't want to keep them.
