I got this extractor set to remove a micro screw the size used in key fobs that can barely be seen. Worked well enough to back out the stripped screw. The part with the black release tab (that goes into the drill chuck) was trash though. It made the drill bit wobble to point that it was unusable. Super cheap and worthless. But, the drill and extractor bits worked fine. Glad I got the set just for the drills and extractors. Don't expect them to be usable after a few uses though. ... show more

I was skeptical. I have a small screw where the entire head sheared off. I had to use the smallest bits in this set. first of all, the extensions don't work at all... too wobbly. I just put the bit directly into the drill. the included drill bit was not making a hole. so i had to go with another small bit I had lying around. I was able to make a tiny hole. I had very little confidence the extractor bit would work, but it did! I was amazed and very happy. 3 stars cause nothing else in the set worked except for the extractor. ... show more

Not recommended. The job of an extractor requires that it be made of a very hard tool steel in order for it to cut into and bite the screw you are trying to extract. They must be harder than what they are extracting. These completely failed. Soft construction. The cutting threads simply folded and wore off in just a couple turns without achieving any effect to the screw. Retired professional mechanic. ... show more
