Great quality, works very well

  • Worked almost immediately, no issues
Color: 13-piece
Granted I only tried the 13mm, it worked great. Hopefully I don't have to use these that often, but they look really well machined and like they will last. I'm very happy with the way my first time using was.

  • Life saver!
Color: 13-piece
This kit was an absolute life saver. I normally change my own oil but I ended up taking it into for the last pill change and they stripped the plug and it was tightened WAY too tight. I tried everything and couldn't get it off. I was ready to take it into the dealership but then ended up reading about an extractor kit online and decided why not, nothing left to lose at this point. This kit worked AMAZING. I was skeptical but it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I tapped the extractor socket on, hit the end of the socket wrench with a rubber hammer and it broke free. This kit saved me hundreds of dollars. Really thankful I found it. ... show more

  • Good Tool
Color: 13-piece
I used the 5/8" 16mm extractor to remove some very stubborn Pitman Shaft bolts on the top of a Steering box. Impact socket rounded 2 of them while trying to break them loose with a 1/2" impact. Think they were torqued to about 800 ft lbs. Because of the tight working space, I used a 15/16" wrench on the Nut part of the extractor (which i really like) and a cheater pipe & was able to break the bolts lose. I was really worried that this was going to slip because the extractor fit pretty lose on the bolt head and there wasn't any other size i could use since these go from 14mm to 16mm and nothing in between. Felt like i really needed a 15mm, but i put the 16mm on there and turned and it grabbed and did the job. I gave this item 4 stars because in other places the manufacture (or seller) states that these are "High Carbon Steel" but they are not. I can tell they are not "High Carbon" because of the marks left on the teeth inside the extractor after use, and because of how i used this tool and because it did not slip or anything, if it were High Carbon it would have cut into the softer metal without leaving marks inside the tool. But anywho, it worked well for what i needed and the price was good. This is one of those tools you hope you never need, but are happy they are there when you do. ... show more

  • WOW, Sweet Tools!
Color: 13-piece
Works awesome on removing stripped / rounded O2 Sensor rusted nuts on my 1993 Toyota 4runner. Sprayed with PB Blaster day before. Then tapped on the 12mm and WOW work like a charm :) Worth every penny!!

  • Stubborn bolt......GONE!!
Color: 13-piece
UPDATE: I had to repurchase these because I cannot find most of my sockets. The reason I rebought these is because I went to AutoZone because they had a different brand, but I thought they would work. More like hoped, then knew they would. Sure enough the teeth completely stripped on the first try. China's finest garbage. So, I decided to rebuy these given my previous success as described below. And with a little bit of "shocking" the threads with a metal impactor, and these amazing sockets, they came out. I had three that were already stripped from using a 3/8 socket. These have special teeth on them. So, the tighter you torque the bolt, the more grip. I was able to get out all the bolts with these. Love these sockets. I tried other brands that just failed. Head bolts are the toughest bolts you will ever have to take out of a car besides rusted exhaust. Get these before you start your project. I wish I would have purchased this item sooner before buying other kits and trying my other bolt out kits. This worked great. I had to get out a stuck head bolt from my engine. OF COURSE.....the last one. It was so stripped I was out of options. That is till I give these 'men' a try. I wanted something with grip that was not going to just stripping the bold more. So these puppies arrived. And after having to pound the socket on the bold and some muscle...it came right out. What makes these so good is their quality to take a pounding. The most important is the teeth. The more you turn the bolt the more the teeth dig into the bolt. They are super short strong edges. This was one of the best I have ever used. I wish they would create a big 100 piece set or something. Like for those 4 mm bolts and those large 20 mm bolts. Wink wink!! ... show more

  • WOW... I can't believe how good this works. !
Color: 18-piece
I just got this today, I ordered it after rounding off a very difficult to get off bolt on the exhaust tip of my side by side. first, I lubed it with Superzilla ( several times ) that has worked on everything until now, then I heated it up with a torch & used a 1/2" breaker bar with a 10 mm 6 point socket and still could not get the bolt off, but did succeed to round off the bolt. I got this today and immediately tried it out ( still doubtful it would work ) I tapped on the 10mm socket to the bolt and right away it turned, so easily that after a couple of turns I took it off & i tried to use my 10mm socket to remove it and still no luck at all, so I put this back on and twisted it off easy. I can't tell you how many things like this that I have bought in the past 40+ years only to not work at all. this was so easy, it was as if the bolt wasn't even tight / stuck to begin with. I'm still in shock over how easily this worked. No longer will I fear a rounded off bolt, this unscrews it easier than a bolt that isn't rounded off or stuck on at all. this is a must have in anyone's tool box. I'm going to buy another one for my future son in law. That's how good this is. ... show more

  • Works very well
Color: 18-piece
Bought this to extract a rounded off oil drain plug bolt. Even though the bolt was way overtightened and I had to use a impact wrench these worked perfectly.
