Needed something to protect the 30”W back door to the garage and this was a perfect fit, with a few inches overhang on both sides of the trim. If you have a standard 36” door with trim around it, you might be disappointed as it may look too small. Assembly was fairly easy with 2 people. Very light and easy to handle. Be careful when cutting the plastic corner wrap / protectors off — they are on tight — you can scratch the plastic which we did. We caulked the back where it meets the siding. With a normal rain, it does its job. With wind driven rain, all bets are off. ... show more

I have tried more than once to get the stainless steel screws that are needed to assemble the awning. After several days following my request for screws, I received a shipment of the screws along with some mounting screws which I have efforted to explain to them were properly included in the original delivery. There are enough stainless steel screws to install one panel. I purchased a set of three panels. I need more stainless steel screws within the next 4 days. If I do not get them as needed per the schedule stated, I will request that I get a refund for the entire package. I had planned to purchase another set of 3 panels if these received were satisfactory. They are not satisfactory so far. If I don't get satisfaction with this purchase I will not order anything else from Amazon for at least 6 months. This delay is going to double my cost because I will have to hire someone to mount these panels, if I can't get them ready to mount before Easter when my son and grandsons are here to mount them for me. I was in hopes of having the first set installed and another set ordered before Easter, but that windown is now closed. My wife and I buy a lot, relatively, from Amazon and are generally satisfied but this company Yescom is not doing as they should and they need to be encouraged to review this situation and try to make some improvements for the benefit of themselves, Amazon, and Amazon customers. All I need is 8 of the longer stainless steel screws, and 4 of the shorter stainless steel screws. The shorter screws are about #6 screws with a length of about 1/2", and the longer stainless steel screws are about #6 screws with a length of about 3/4 of an inch. I don't need any of the long 2.5" screws used to mount onto the house. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the product. I hope it will attract would be home buyer. My goal was to have an overhang over my front door to protect against rain while entering my home without major construction of a front porch roof. I have accomplished you that. The drawback is, it's not as wide as it should have been. That was my fault. As per other reviews, product was not meant to be installed over flexible siding, i e vinyl siding. The product was shipped with these oversized masonry bolts. LOL! The product is plastic and would have broken way before the bolts would have pulled out of any Masonry structure. I had to manipulate the vinyl siding on my house and make wooden brackets to fasten them to the wood frame of the house and then fastened the plastic arms of the awning to the wood brackets. The task took some time about 4 hours but fortunately I have a woodworking shop and then capable of performing the installation. I'm considering buying others for the front windows of my home to match has that are reasonably priced, attractive, and do provide some sun shading to my home as I do not have trees to help shade my house. So far so good, will have to post a new review when I get snow on it. I recommend it. ... show more

This awning is decent for the price. I mounted it on outside stucco wall to cover pool filter and pump equip. area. When I first opened the package it seemed a bit flimsy and cheap, but after assembly it anchored together nicely. Make sure you fasten your screws tightly on each corner of the awning assembly itself, this will ensure strength before mounting it up. As for the hardware to fasten to your house or structure, it doesnt come with anchors to mount into stucco - just masonry so I had to go to hardware store to get correct anchors and bolts. I do like the curved design of the awning, as this allows the extra height under it so that I can work on pool filter. I would suggest using a second person to hold awning in place while marking/mounting holes for your anchors. It would be a bit cumbersome to try to do with only one person. Very sleek different design, makes this awning serve a great purpose while also looking good. ... show more

This is a great awning for the price. Reason they received four stars is because of the mounting bolts that they include, only for brick frie this is a great awning for the price. Reason they received four stars is because of the mounting bolts that they include, they're only for brick. I had to go to Home Depot and pick up some screws to be able to mount it. I just got 4 #14 Philips screws with flat head, 3.5" long. I was able to do it by myself and I am no handyman by any means, would have definitely been much easier with the second person helping. I just put a long but small nail on the opposite side and kinda hung it there to support the weight while I secured one side in then moved to the other side. It seems flimsy at first when you're putting it together but once you have it together, it is sturdy. ... show more

You'll thank me later. The screws shipped were terribly inadequate. The heads need to be a larger phillips drive size and cut deeper. Not larger heads, just the drive size. Also recommend using a magnetized screwdriver for working the two topmost screws. The instructions are little more than a schematic with a few poorly chosen English phrases, but you won't need them. Slap on the front and back, bow the shade whilst pushing/sliding it into one of the sides. Work the other side on, then spend most of your time trying to drive those inadequate screws into untapped holes. Once assembled, the unit itself works as advertised.
