I put the cover down and then the pool on top and after the pool was up and water was in it I thought it would be a really strong fabric that was hard to get through even for some animals and in my yard I guess I had an animal that dug a hole underground and went straight through this product but what was irritating me was the fact that grass was still growing right through the felt all the way around the pool

It’s a thin layer of protection. I still added some interlocking rubber cushions for extra protection. Besides the thinness, I think this works other than nothing.
