This is an excellent umbrella, particularly for the price point. I found the exact same model at Home Depot for nearly twice the cost. The fabric is attractive and durable, and the overall quality is impressive. The crank mechanism works smoothly, making it easy to open and close. I am happy with the big 11-feet coverage provided by this umbrella. But you get what you paid for. The vendor already says that the umbrella is polyester-based, not canvas-based. This is the main reason for the lower price. Upon receiving the package. I just realized how thin the polyester layer is. The umbrella's metal frame is just the same as other umbrella that I had before. To ensure the longer usage of the umbrella, I got an umbrella cover to protect the thin polyester when the umbrella is not used. In the meantime, I have searched around and put some umbrella replacements in my shopping cart. The 9-feet replacement garment is more common than the 11-feet replacement garment.

Got my umbrella and I set it up and when I went to put it down it wouldn't go down..so it's stuck up and I can't get it down and ups won't take it unless I bubble wrap it.. mean while I can't get the umbrella to come down now.. how the hell am I supposed to bring a 9ft umbrella in to my car when it's stuck open.. I'm very unhappy.. so in other words DONT BUY THESE CRAPPY UMBRELLAS , cheap material

Great umbrella. I got the light blue and it’s a great pop of color. Beware buying dark colors as you can feel the heat being absorbed when you’re under it, rather than reflecting it. (I don’t feel that with this light blue one.). The 11’ size is great— most market umbrellas this shape are 9’ or 10’ so it’s great to have the large size without having to have the expensive big base (this fits a basic standard base) , or a cantilever which is $$$.
