Arrived in a cardboard box, basket in plastic bag. Small dents on the bottom but not bad. Description shows item dimensions as 17.88 x 17.88 x 14.25 inches. Actual measurements are 16 3/4 outside across the top. Yes it fits in my 80qt pot but leaves lots of space around the side as the pot is 19 inches across and I ordered this for the stated size. Returning it only for that reason as the basket seems like a standard aluminum basket. ... show more

I try to avoid products made in China and if I would have known up front, I would not have bought it. It is very lightweight and is not heavy gauge aluminum but it does get the job done. The handle will not hold itself up but tends to fall into the pot. Be ready for hot hands but it does work and fits my 20 quart pot. ... show more

Perfect size for my canning pot- to blanch tomatoes etc! Fit was perfect for my pot. Quality high gauge metal is and much better than strainers I’ve seen in I stores. The handle is very sturdy and almost as round as a pencil which makes lifting a heavy load much more comfortable, and top rim of strainer is rolled to keep from exposing sharp edges. I really appreciated that it has dimples on the bottom to keep it raised off the bottom of the cook pot so I don’t have to use a trivet. This strainer exceeded my expectations with quality materials, ease of use and thoughtfully designed. I highly recommend it! ... show more
