    • Skip using clips, just wrap your pool
This is exactly what I needed to keep the cover on my above ground pool on. Figuring out what kind of clip i was going to need was a headache. Instead, I just got this one roll of wrap, made sure the cover was in place, and walked around and around my pool sealing the edge. The cover will STILL bubble up. Air WILL GET IN. But the wrap holds the ENTIRE EDGE in place, so you don't have to worry about it coming off. If the winds are strong enough to pull it up with THIS on, you have bigger worries. ... show more

This worked and lasted all winter. I will say I installed w 3 people total to b sure I had it tight. The only complaint is the price with it only lasting 1x it's expensive to buy each year. People who's review said it fell I can't imagine how unless you installed it wrkmg I had to cut mine off that's how well it stayed! ... show more

I live in a very windy area so my pool cover will often get pulled off when the wind gets under the edge. Since I wrapped the pool this year I have not had any problems with the cover and we've had some high winds. I will definitely purchase this product again next year! Word of advice...I had never used this before and didn't realize that you need to stretch the product as you put it on. Don't stretch too much or it will tear. When you wrap around the second time just start to pull harder as you wrap....you will get the feel of it rather quickly. Once you start to stretch it the hold gets much better. ... show more

This is the fourth winter owning an above ground pool. This was the first year I bought the pool "cling wrap" as my husband called it. I really thought it would help a lot with our high winds (I live in a very flat, windy place), but alas, it did not. We had winds about 55 mph and the winter tarp pulled up through the cling cover. I didn't remove it, but it wasn't able to keep the tarp down like I'd hoped. This is after using the ENTIRE box on the pool, versus the several seasons it claimed to hold. I understood our winds are stupid, so thought it would be better, and work. It didn't. Disappointed. I bet in a less windy area though, it would be ok. Just not where I am. Maybe I'll buy two boxes next year and just getting ridiculous with it. Maybe that will work? The idea is sound though, and it wasn't that expensive. ... show more

Two windy days and the wrap failed and wind got under the cover. Have edge clips coming to try to better mitigate this. May also wrap again, but commercial pallet stretch wrap is significantly cheaper. May wrap with that and hope that many many tight layers of clear wrap might hold better.

The media could not be loaded. I have used this for years! I seem to be the only one in my neighborhood who uses it on their pools. But my pool cover stays nice and tight and I get very little of evaporation. this is the best thing! Easy as wrapping leftovers. It just pull it tight and walk all the way around and around and around your pool it’s seals it great! try this! it only takes a little time to install. love it, try it, you'll love it! my pool is almost 18 years old and this stuff gets it through the harshest of winters, no problem. its a product that really works! ... show more
