I don't understand the reviews saying it blew off. I've used this 2 years in a row and it's worked great both times. I use the whole roll, wrapping it around as tightly as possible, making sure to get it over the edges and down against the side of the pool., varying the height of the wrap as I go around. It takes a little work, but it wraps around the ladder and everything nicely and has never blown off. I think the people who say it blew off must not be using it properly. ... show more

    • Doesn’t work if your pool is exposed to wind elements.
I installed this product as described. It lasted one night and by the next day had weakened and came loose from the pool. Very unhappy with the product. May try it one additional time to ensure I did noting wrong, but it’s one of those products that goes on one way and it either works or it doesn’t. Product may work if the elements exposure to wind is limited, but if not it’s not worth the hassle or the money. ... show more

    • Collects water in the center of the cover
It does not allow for water to drain when it rains we have to use a pump to filter the water out to keep it from ripping. Should have tiny drain holes or easier to not collect water. Otherwise seems to be a good product

the product worked until the first big wind storm. i would say it stayed in place for approximately 3 weeks. the first storm ripped it right off. i bought it a second time because the pool cover that came with our 33' round pool is only a huge tarp. they don't make liners that fit that size pool so we have to do anything we can to hold the cover down. we haven't used the 2nd roll yet because we are in the middle of storms and high winds. hopefully once this weather passes we will have better luck. ... show more

I live in a very windy area so my pool cover will often get pulled off when the wind gets under the edge. Since I wrapped the pool this year I have not had any problems with the cover and we've had some high winds. I will definitely purchase this product again next year! Word of advice...I had never used this before and didn't realize that you need to stretch the product as you put it on. Don't stretch too much or it will tear. When you wrap around the second time just start to pull harder as you wrap....you will get the feel of it rather quickly. Once you start to stretch it the hold gets much better. ... show more

    • Skip using clips, just wrap your pool
This is exactly what I needed to keep the cover on my above ground pool on. Figuring out what kind of clip i was going to need was a headache. Instead, I just got this one roll of wrap, made sure the cover was in place, and walked around and around my pool sealing the edge. The cover will STILL bubble up. Air WILL GET IN. But the wrap holds the ENTIRE EDGE in place, so you don't have to worry about it coming off. If the winds are strong enough to pull it up with THIS on, you have bigger worries. ... show more
