I put this awning over my front door. It is sturdy and it was easy to assemble. It is made of plastic so when I get a lot of snow, I make sure to go out and periodically keep that cleaned off so the weight doesn’t damage it. I ordered this awning to keep rain off the door of my shop building. It does a great job of that, and I was very pleased at how it really dresses up the appearance of the building front. The caveat is that assembling and installing this awning is NOT a one-man job. The pieces go together fairly easily, but holding everything together as you hang the awning definitely requires four hands, not two. Be sure to peel off the thin plastic protective film on BOTH surfaces of each plastic sheet. I'm quite satisfied and think this is a great deal for your money. Great product! Super fast shipping. I only dropped 1 star due to it didn’t have detailed instructions and 1 of the bolts was alot smaller than the rest, and it was tough to install on my building. Hard with 2 people. I was surprised that the holes needed to be so large to have this installed. It looks awesome. All parts other than the hardware are plastic, so lighter than metal but I hope it lasts. ... show more
