Seller responded quickly to my issues and offered a solution. Thank you. Update: My wife and I mounted it today (this is not a one person job unless you have three arms) and it went pretty well. While assembling it those four tiny screws just kept popping apart so I replaced them with longer, bigger ones. Now it's solid. All in all I'm glad I bought it and I love the way it looks. However, if you are not capable of overcoming some frustrating obstacles you may not want to purchase this. Being handy with putting things together and innovating is absolutely necessary. I am a retired remodeling contractor and woodworker so I work with my hands all the time. Caveat Emptor. I bought the 40" wide awning. The instructions for this awning are an absolute joke. For starters, in step one each panel gets TWO long pieces of foam and two SHORT pieces of foam, not four long ones. Those pieces don't get stuck to the edge of the panel, they get fastened to the FACE of the panel, near the edge. Put them all on one side. The clear plastic piece that goes between the two panels goes on really tight. I was able to get it on by myself, but it would certainly be easier and faster if two people were working together on this part. The part that gave me the most headaches was fastening the two aluminum pieces in place. The screw holes in my awning did not line up so I had to use an awl to move them into place. If you don't have an awl, you could use a small Phillips screw driver or something similar. BTW, DON'T use the "self-tapping screws" as the directions say. They are for use on a larger awning. Use the four longer screws that come in the same pack. Overall, the awning looks great. How long it will last remains to be seen. Given that only 4 small screws hold this thing together makes me skeptical that it will last long. A heavy snow load, a branch rolling off the roof, hail....I have my doubts. I hope that helps. I cussed a blue streak assembling this thing, I hope you don't. lol

Worries become assured! Courier box thin, unpacking before the heart a little drumming. As a result, the installation process is very smooth, PC endurance plate set with matching solid aluminum bracket, feel instantly stable, very strong! It also looks better than the picture. Although some small details (such as hole position) can be more accurate, but the price with this material (solid aluminum frame + PC solid plate), truly is value for money! Great quality, buy with confidence!
