  • ⛱️ Shade-Saver that Punches Above Its Price
Color: Royal Blue
TL;DR: Setup takes one coffee, the sand-bag base keeps it rock-steady, and the infinite-tilt canopy tracks the sun all afternoon. A true value buy—my only wish is effortless 360° rotation, but at this price the trade-off is minor. ⸻ Why I Picked It: ▶︎ Full kit, no upsell: 10-ft canopy and sand-bag base come in the box—no scavenger hunt for extra parts. ▶︎ Royal-blue 240 g fabric: Fade-resistant and thick enough to block harsh Kentucky sun. ▶︎ Infinite tilt + crank: Lets me dial shade over the fire-pit seating in seconds. Assembly & Sand-Bag Win The cross-base bolts together in minutes. I loaded each weight pouch with playground sand (~45 lb each). Compared with bulky water tanks, sand: ▶︎ Shrinks the footprint—my pavers stay clutter-free. ▶︎ Adds more mass, so gusts don’t rattle the frame. ▶︎ Lets me “pick-and-place” the bags when I need to reposition the umbrella—no sloshing water, no mess. In-Use Highlights ▶︎ Coverage on demand: Tilt handle glides smoothly and locks anywhere along the arc—great for late-day sun angles. ▶︎ Crank action: Opens and closes with one hand; gearing feels solid, no grinding. ▶︎ Quiet confidence: Aluminum pole + 16 ribs show zero flex while the canopy’s vent bleeds off sudden breezes. Pros: ▶︎ Sand-bag base = smaller, heavier, easier to move ▶︎ Infinite-tilt & height adjust deliver precise shade control ▶︎ Smooth crank + quick-lock tilt beats the “two-hand wrestle” of budget models ▶︎ Fade-resistant fabric still vibrant after rain & UV blast ▶︎ Price-to-feature ratio is hard to top Cons (Nitpick): ▶︎ No built-in 360° swivel—you have to nudge the base if the sun swings far side-to-side. For the cost, I’ll live with it, and it doesn't take much to reposition it for our needs. ... show more

  • Great for a shaded deck!
Color: Black
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very nice! Absolutely love this umbrella! Easy to put together and to use! The sandbag base is so convenient and such a great idea.

  • Looks great, but not very moveable
Color: Beige
It looks wonderful and opens and closes smoothly. Very easy to assemble. However, it is very heavy and is best if you have a small space or plan to leave it in one spot. Once in place, you're not going to want to move it (due to the sandbags - which you have to fill with sand purchased separately at your local home hardware store). Sand alone is 100 lbs plus weight of umbrella and stand. My patio is large and the sun moves from one end of my outdoor table to the other. I am going to have to buy two of these (which will clog up my space). Had I realized this, it would have been cheaper to buy a more expensive one with wheels. ... show more

  • The wikiwiki 10ft Patio Umbrella with Base Included is a PERFECT Fit on our Patio!
Color: Royal Blue
The wikiwiki 10ft Patio Umbrella with Base Included is the second cantilever umbrella that we have purchased, each one having unique coverage capabilities. Our original umbrella is on our deck, and while it does have the ability to rotate in a horizontal plane it is only limited to 4 tilt positions (which lock in place). That works out just perfectly where we have it situated on our deck. FYI, we also had to purchase a base separately! The wikiwiki not only comes with a base, but also has INFINITE tilt positions (see attached photos for the full tilt capabilities)! Also, while it cannot rotate horizontally, we have no need to do that where it is situated on our side patio. So we have the best of both worlds! The wikiwiki 10ft Patio Umbrella with Base Included was easy to assemble (bolts, washers, wrench included—all one needs is to buy inexpensive sand for the base), appears to be sturdy, looks great and is easy to maneuver. May I suggest that additionally purchasing a relatively inexpensive waterproof cover would be a good idea, as this will protect the umbrella fabric from getting wet and sun damaged when covered! ... show more

  • SO WORTH IT
Color: Dark Gray
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this umbrella! its so easy to set up and creates a great mount of shade. It is saving us duirng this heatwave/summer. Its easy enough where my 3.5 year old son can crank it open for me. A great price too! I was going to buy one in stores but why when I can get this to my house in 2 days and for a fraction of the cost. Well worth it! ... show more

  • Junk!
Color: Dark Gray
The base is complete junk. Literally destroyed itself into pieces in a 5mph wind. The umbrella and shaft is decent for the money but not great. The base is the worst design I have ever seen. An 8th grader could have built something better.

  • Maybe worthwhile if it lasts
Color: Beige
Our canopy is only 9’4” when fully extended so a bit disappointed to be cheated out of 8”, but it’s not a deal breaker. All-in-all, this is a fairly typical Chinese product, meaning that first impressions are generally very positive, and the likelihood of it being a durable product is more iffy than we would hope for. Assembly was straight-forward and fairly easy since the canopy was already pre-assembled to the mast. The base is well-made, and the cover over the sandbags or whatever is used for ballast is a very nice touch. The main pole seems to be sturdy enough to resist twisting or bending. Finish on all metal pieces is actually quite good. Design is the standard cantilever design that everyone uses. The few plastic pieces in the handles and covers seem sturdy. The cord used to crank open/shut is the only piece that is worrisome since it seems to be a thin strand of polyester or nylon, so the odds are that eventually it will fray and separate and have to be replaced. The top is water resistant, according to our test with some splashed water. Not sure how waterproof it is if left open to rain. Our tan top gave pretty good shade in fairly bright sun, which is the whole goal. So, money well-spent? Yes, if it lasts at least one season, and hopefully more. We’ll hope for the best. ... show more
