This is the most expensive thing I've ever purchased from Amazon, and I had some very serious reservations about buying something so expensive on line. However, we'd done our research, checking out local furniture, and we knew this manufacturer was top of the line - and the price was a whole lot better than anything we could get locally. So, I took the plunge, and I couldn't be more pleased. The seating itself is wonderfully comfortable, and perfectly supportive. I'm short, and my husband is tall - and it perfectly fits us both, thanks to the infinitely adjustable reclining positions, the adjustable lumbar support, and the adjustable headrest. I can recline to watch TV and still have my head supported, and so can my husband. The mechanisms are solidly built and almost completely silent - I can adjust without interrupting the movie. The seating is firm enough to be supportive - not mushy - but padded enough that there are not hard spots, my legs don't fall asleep, and I can watch tv comfortably for hours. This thing weighs a LOT, more than 400 pounds. While the backs can be moved separately, the base seats are all in one big piece, so moving this thing around is a very big challenge. You're definitely not going to get it down steps by yourself. However, getting it assembled is very, very easy. Because it's solidly built, the pieces fit right together simply and easily, and the various electrical connectors go together perfectly. The only negative to report about the experience is that the carrier screwed up the delivery. They sent our shipment to another town, and brought us the wrong thing. However, they did eventually get it unscrewed, after several days. Those things happened, and our furniture arrived in perfect condition. My only real complaint is that what's listed here as the carrier is actually some kind of service, and the carrier is some other freight company - figuring that out and getting connected up with the freight company was very annoying. This is a quality, well thought out piece of functional furniture. The leather is good quality, the electronic features work perfectly, it is very comfortable and the reclining ends, headrests and lumbar support can be adjusted separately. You can also program your favorite position so you don’t have to adjust every time. The plug, 2 USB ports, cordless phone charger, table with two cup holders and two adjustable lights in the fold down center are so convenient. The outer armrests each have a storage compartment that includes a table that attaches to the front of the armrest big enough for a small laptop or tray and an additional cup holder. It requires a power strip with at least 4 plugs. When you are in it with your necessities you are self-contained and only need to get up for a potty break! It came well packaged, protected and in perfect condition. Delivery was on time and the delivery crew was fantastic. Seatcraft created an amazing piece with this one, we love it! ... show more

Delivery was scheduled for 12-3 pm and they came at 9:30 blaming on the traffic! Really?! With no text or call that it will be delayed. Stayed home on a Saturday and missed the family event. Once it arrived it had defective wireless charging station. Called sea craft customer service and after long wait times I was told they will send a replacement that I have to fix myself. And that they will send a video for demonstration. I never received the video in the email. Mind you they have one year warranty to fix any flaws but didn’t know it will be handed to me to replace. Lastly saw this in Ashley outlet store with heat and massage and a cheaper price top grain leather. Wish I had shopped around more. It’s expensive for the functions it provides and quality. Sigh returning this item is a big hassle as well. ... show more

    • Great features and implimentation, but delivery is a sham

The delivery guys came by, couldn't speak much English and dropped a 328 pound box near the sidewalk. I scheduled it for 3-6 pm so I could be here and they changed the time and came by when they wanted to. Previously, xpo logistics were very helpful and brought a massage chair into the house. This time, they made my girl cry and left it outside in a wind storm. Bad choice. The sofa is very well made and looks great. I bought this version particularly because of the powered lumbar support. It works well and is comfy. I think it is over priced but given the current shipping issues, I was willing to pay before it went up more. I love black leather and this is pristine hide. ... show more

We needed seating for our newly finished media room. After scouring the internet, we kept coming back to the Seatcraft brand. I wanted something not too big, but that would be comfortable for both my 6'3" husband and my 5'4" self. These looked perfect. I was nervous to order on-line, but all of the seating at the local furniture stores was HUGE! I wanted something sleek and stylish. These love seats are perfect. Very comfortable with reclining feature, lumbar support, and adjustable head rest. The tray tables come in very handy when eating popcorn and pizza while watching a movie. Another well used feature is the plug in for the USB cord right by the arm rest. The whole experience from ordering, to scheduling delivery, to set-up went perfectly. A warning, the seats are VERY heavy, well constructed. The two cons: they do not recline all the way back (this would be nice as I like to lay on my side to watch movies); and the buttons to adjust the seat are on the inside of the armrest and therefore hidden by the seat (better if they were on the outside). Overall, I highly recommend Seatcraft Vienna Home Theater Seating. Four and a half stars! ... show more
