This is a nice light color and because it's sheer, it still allows enough light through the keep the plants happy and thriving. It's a fantastic size and I was surprised by the quality, especially given the price. The rope, however, isn't the best so we used some of our own to secure it to poles we put up on the roof. We haven't had any heavy winds yet but it's definitely been breezy. Got this for our back patio - it gets too hot to use in the middle of summer. We didn't want something that completely blocks out the sun so this is perfect for that. Pros: + Good quality material - should last several years in our environment + Good level of shade. We like how opaque the material is, lets the light in, blocks the strong sun. Cons: - Getting it installed tightly is a chore that frankly we failed at. That's not entirely the fault of the sun shade product itself since it doesn't come with installation hardware, but the overall product experience is reduced by this. Amazon offers a kit for it and we'll likely have to go that route to fix it. The product could have come some instructions on best practices. I guess that's what the Internet is for now though. The Sail Shade Cover is a good value at the price point. Suitable to excellent shade covers cost significantly more. I will be using this shade cover vertically when needed to provide shade in the late afternoon when shade is needed over six feet above the ground. The triangular shape provides shade where needed and doesn't take up as much room where shade is unnecessary. This is a cost-effective shade solution compared to the alternative. The included rope is not the best for securing the shade. An inexpensive parachute cord works great for securing the shade cover. Since this shade does not come with a hanging hardware option, I am in search of that must have items to hang it. I will update once I get time to work out that final detail to see if I still like it, but out of the box it appears to be as listed. I have this in the sand yellow color. The color matches well with my pool and the almond-colored vinyl fence. The price is affordable. This provides some much-needed extra shade around the pool. The sail shade itself feels like a decent quality. The rope can be tossed out for something better.

I have a few of these to try out, i am not sure which size is best as i want to fit the sale in an Lshape without putting up an extra pole. I suspect i will use a better quality cord to last longer and fit easier. I am also going to try a winch clicker that will make it easier to adjust the tightness a bit at a time. Pros: the beige color is pleasant. I prefer this option over a darker color because it’s offers up a lighter summer ambiance when standing underneath. And people don’t get a colored hue on their skin like the other darker color options. It’ll also be to easy to hang up when we’re ready for summer because it’s half the weight of another sunshade we ordered. Con: one star taken off because it’s not super thick. We have this exact same material on a roll for fence privacy and you can very slightly (10%) see through it. I prefer a full privacy sun shade. ... show more
