I have been using wella products for years. I am a former hairdresser so I have been doing my own color all these years. I like wella color charm because it delivers a great natural looking color. I use 1 Oz 20 strength Creme developer, with 2/3’s 8RG/729 Titan Red Blonde and last third I divide equally with 4/N 411 medium brown and 5RG/ 445 5 light auburn to achieve the color shown. After I colored my whole head of hair the first time, I only color the new grown in roots from there on. I leave on for 25 minutes. I find that when people color their hair this auburn color at home or rather any red color, it tends to look fake using this one product unless the natural hair is on the dark side. If it’s over white or gray, blonde, well, definitely doesn’t read well. With the medium brown added to it, it tones down the fake look. I’m 68 for reference and yes I do wear makeup and have good skin. But I think because of my realistic looking color and below my shoulder length hairstyle people think I’m around 55 thereabouts. I will color my hair as my mom did until I can’t and she did till she passed at 80. Anyway, great products and so easy to get on Amazon and even cheaper with auto replenish.

Color: 7A Med Smokey Ash Blonde
I left 7A on for about 25 minutes and it gave me a really nice even color! Before is the orangey pink and after is the dirty blonde. I suggest doing it on wet hair to get a more even result. I saw a few comments about the activator but I didn’t buy it because I wasn’t sure exactly what it did, and it worked really well without it for me! It didn’t come out brown like a lot of people had said it did for them, I’m not really sure why that is 🤷🏻♀️ but I’d suggest it!

I love Wella products. The colors are beautiful. My natural color is dark dirty blonde with golden pigment. I love this rich color. It's neutral so it will align with your natural pigment. I use 20developer and 1-1ratio leaving it on for 25-30minutes. Results are amazing. With Wella my hair stays healthy and shiny. I like Paul Mitchell's "THE ONE" leave in conditioner and squeeze out the water then run through a big dollop before towel drying. Perfect hair color for under $10.

This is my favorite red! I’ve attached a pic of my hair prior, I’ve been using this color every 6-8 weeks for over a year and it’s just gotten more vibrant overtime. I’m constantly asked if I’m a true redhead, it’s a very believable natural red for me. If you over process it, it will start looking more burgundy toned and less natural so definitely stick with 30-40 minutes. At this point, none of my hair is bleached but it was beautiful on bleached hair as well, faded out to be more of a strawberry blonde. On my natural color with 20 volume developer, this is what I get and it just becomes dull after 6-8 washes (4-5 weeks).

This works great to remove brassy tones in blinde hair!!! On another note, don’t let it touch any of your natural hair because it will turn natural hair more brassy due to the developer removing some color from your hair!

Does not turn your hair a light gray. It turns your hair a very dark blue. If you want blue hair for Christmas, wella 050 is the color for you
