Another reviewer already canvassed this point I am about to make, but it is an important one that should be stressed: the product description, pictures, everything about it is trying to portray a fully functional workout bench, and this is not a fully functional workout bench. But where this product shines is what it can do, that other workout benches cannot. This product arrived fully assembled, and so could be used immediately, just unfold and get to work with calisthenics and light to medium weight training. The retaining pins are small and the gauge of steel used throughout the product is thinner to save weight, for portability and ease of use. When I'm done exercising, this bench can be folded upright and leaned on a wall to save a lot of space. It has a good level of customization to the bench incline/decline, though the decline is lacking luster even for a portable bench. The bench also has some moderate stability problems, nothing that cannot be compensated for by weighting the bench legs down and avoiding the edges of the bench, but they are noticeable enough. In summary, this workout bench is good for what it is, and is a very affordable option, but an improved version should focus on stabilizing the bench pads, advertising it as a portable easy set up bench for small or temporary workout spaces.

I have 3 other benches that I will compare this to, My $ 500.00 do everything bench, $ 100.00 incline/decline bench, and straight $ 45.00 flat bench. Comfort -not bad, almost as comfortable as my $100 bench, Not nearly as comfortable as $ 500 bench Adjustments, Not bad, very easy to adjust, when raising back or seat, one hand adjustment. When lowering back, I wish there was a foot peg like I have on my $500 bench, so you could just use your foot to lift the adjustment brace to adjust. Weight limit. Listing says it will support 660 lbs of weight, I weigh 210, would I attempt to bench 440 on this bench,, No way. (Hey if you are bench 440, I would expect you already have a real good bench) I would feel ok with 200-225, More if I had a power rack with a safety bar. Overall it is very light weight, less than 20 lbs compared to my 100 lb bench. Makes it a real handy auxiliary bench, something you can pull out as needed for limited exercises. I was completely surprised when I opened the box and saw it fully assembled, Yes that is right, already fully assembled, just needed to unfold it. Real handy if you have to tuck it away when not in use, you can fold it up in literally 10 seconds, See pic 5 Now the elephant in the room.. the decline position, It is terrible, the seat has no locking mechanism, so when you set it to decline, it can (most likely will) fold back on you and most likely dump you off the bench. See Pic 4. No matter how hard I tried I could not get it to work smoothly, So if you are looking for bench to do declines, this is not the one. So who could this be for? If you need a simple light bench for flat and inclines only, Limited in space and folding it away is handy. Or if you have a really good bench and just need a little something lightweight that you can pull out for odd and ends, this could work, It's cheap enough. really for under $ 70.00 you can't expect a real lot.

It is a very good solid bench and pretty much comes ready to go. It is a very good simple bench but no matter how I try to position the seat and the backrest I cannot get it to be completely flat. It seems one is either higher or lower than the other. In other words they don't completely line up perfectly it really doesn't stop me from using this. It's just something I am a little surprised about.
