Sony has made it very simple to add internal memory to their PS5. Since I tend to play games that are way too big, I figured I'd need this eventually, and I was right. It is very easy to install, and this particular product comes with an important, built-in heat sink. Bought the WD Black 4tb as an upgrade from my Samsung S990 2tb I was using. I simply wanted more space to future proof my system. Install was super easy however the Samsung seemed to fit a little bit better but that may just be because of the design. Either way it only took minutes to remove the old and install the 4tb. Turned my PS5 back on and the new SSD was instantly recognized and needed formatting. Shows as 4.01tb available.
