Product seemed great for about the first 3 days we had it, cats loved it (even the larger ones) but day 4 I walked into the basement and noticed the display wasn’t lit up and there was a strange burning smell. I called my husband and he immediately said it was electrical burning, unplugged the unit. EDIT: Seller reached out and provided a full refund for the item, they responded quickly and professionally. The media could not be loaded. We had it for two weeks now and is loving it! We had a litter robot at home and wanted to try something cheaper and smaller in size. This one worked out just fine and takes way less space! The set up is quick and easy as it came pretty much assembled. Took me about 5 minutes to get everything set up and running. I like it also came with stepping pads, roll of trash bags, and the scented deodorant. The size is also perfect for my cats. Another nice feature I noticed is it makes way less noise than the litter robot we have when operating. You can barely hear it when it’s rotating. The loud sound usually scares my cats away or wakes us up at night, so that’s definitely a bonus point. One thing I would recommend is use light weight clumping cat litter if you have a choice. I use mineral sand which is on the heavier side. When you overload the globe, it’ll prevent it from rotating properly. But once you figure out the right amount to put in, it will run smoothly! Easy setup, not to difficult to build. However, it took me nearly two hours to figure out the WiFi portion of it. The box wouldn’t flash yellow, not allowing it to connect to the app. Be sure to keep the litter box on a level surface when connecting, and take the barrel out of the box to help. Works well, now. Decent size, not too bulky. Cleans the box great, not sure how the smell is going to be, playing that by ear. Overall, a good litter box if you’re looking to save some money. Edit: Be sure to buy a very good clumping litter, as sometimes the cat’s waste can be smeared around the rotator, rather than fall through to the bin at the bottom. Also, it helps if your cat covers up his waste after he goes. The smell is definitely better than how it was with my old/normal litter box. Be sure to not get the litter box wet, I was unfortunate enough to not notice the “do not get wet” sticker, and washed mine with water, rather than a wet cloth, and I had to end up getting a new one because it wouldn’t turn on. I would still recommend this litter box if you’re looking for an automatic one on a budget. ... show more

Was bought as a gift for my daughter for her 3 cat household. She is pleased with it,easy to clean out waste receptable .Cats seem to have no issue with using it as well .No issues with it so far and we are about 6 weeks into it. Considering buying one for my house now

In terms of physical product (design, materials, and assembly) this seems like a promising buy. Unboxing and preparation for use is severely under-documented: there were numerous packing materials inside the device that were not described anywhere and that surely required removal in order for the product to function. The accompanying "user guide" likewise leaves a lot to be desired in terms of both content and presentation--it suffers greatly from "Engrish". The device itself is further festooned with labels. In short there is a painful lack of a single and reliable resource for all information about the device and its use. Once ready and powered on, its operation also is a bit puzzling. There is a lot of delay after pressing the button to execute a cycle. The cycle appears to stop for a very long time in the "open" and not-ready state before returning to the ready-for-use condition. I suspect that there is an expectation from the manufacturer/designers that "the app will do all". I am opposed to such things and do not intend to connect this device to my home network. It is further observed that "Warcat" branding does not appear anywhere on the device, the documentation, or the packaging, leading to the conclusion--supported by some anecdotal internet evidence--that this is a generic product that is manufactured to be sold under various guises. This specific product also is sold by Chewy, which is what led me to the purchasing decision. If it works, it's a good buy; but there have been enough oddities in the first 24 hours of use that I am hesitant to go so far as recommend it to anyone else. ... show more
