Easy installation for my electrician. No surprises for him. Can be used without app just simply plug in and your car will began charging. I own a 2024 Nissan Ariya. No charging adaptors are needed. This item is rated to be used outside for those of you that do not have a garage. Materials seem so far to be of good quality. I was easily spending $20-$30 a day to fast charge my vehicle until I had this Wallbox Pulsar 2 installed. Now I believe it will be a lot cheaper to charge overnight. I’ve downloaded the app and it has a few features I like such as charge schedules and how much energy you use. You can even enter the amount of money your local utility charges to get an exact amount of money your spending for home charging. I live in Tampa, Florida with a warm climate so I can not testify how it would operate in cold climates.

The Pulsar Plus EV charger by Wallbox, is a very well made, high quality charger in many ways. It works great, weather your car can handle 48 Amps or only 16, this charger will leave you satisfied that you’ve got one of the best options currently on the market. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This company makes great quality products. All the materials are very nice and it presents itself as top quality. I’d put this one in the top tier of the quality scale for EV chargers and guess it’ll perform great for a long time. II. Installation – This one is a little unique in that you have to hardwire it to the breaker box, rather than plug it in with a NEMA 14-50 plug like most others. It’s more difficult than the plug in type if you already have the plug, but overall, it’s not that hard or complex. III. Performance – With the ability to charge at 48 Amps, you can pull a lot of juice for a home charger. Most others are 40 Amp at best and my included Tesla charger pulls 32 Amps. It works great with a nice app, being waterproof and having smart features. It also can charge at many levels below 48 Amps if your car can’t take that many amps or if you want to set it up to charge only as fast as needed for better longevity of the batteries. While this charger is top of the line, it feels like the value proposition is low considering it’s high level of cost currently. Overall, this is a great choice in the world of home EV chargers. It charges super-fast at up to 48Amps, with class and quality. You won’t be disappointed with this one, I highly recommend it. However, I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. I've been using the Wallbox Pulsar EV charger for a while now and it has performed fantastically. The charging handle feels sturdy and well-made, and the included handle hanger is a thoughtful touch that helps keep everything organized and tidy. One of the standout features for me is its seamless compatibility with Home Assistant. Adding the charger to my server was simple—I just connected the charger to the internet and added the integration, with no extra setup required. This makes monitoring charging sessions and usage incredibly convenient. The charger also supports scheduling for time-of-use rates, which can help save on electricity costs. While this feature is available, I personally rely on my vehicle’s built-in scheduling, which tends to be more flexible. Installation was straightforward; I opted to use a NEMA 14-50 plug since I already had a compatible receptacle, but the charger is designed for hardwiring as well and even allows for a hidden wire setup if you want a cleaner look. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Wallbox Pulsar. It’s reliable, easy to integrate with smart home systems, and built with quality in mind—an excellent choice for EV owners.

. The 48 Amp power output means that it charges my EV quickly and efficiently, even on a busy schedule. The smart WiFi and Bluetooth features allow me to monitor and control the charging via the app, and I love that it’s Alexa and Google Home compatible for voice control. The 25ft cable gives me a lot of flexibility, and I appreciate that it’s built to work both indoors and outdoors. The fact that it's Energy Star certified is a nice bonus, ensuring it's efficient. It's compact and sleek, making it a space-saver without compromising on power.

This is a really nice charger. There are so many chargers littering Amazon these days, but this is definitely one of the higher end ones. It’s built very well, and is quite easy to install – whether you’re planning to use it with the heavy dryer plug or to hardwire it. It works well, charges at the promised speeds, assuming your circuit is set up to appropriately handle whichever amperage you’re trying to draw. While this one is a bit pricier than quite a few of them, I think that the quality and ease of use makes it completely worth it.

If you're searching for an EV charger, you're already probably aware of the output for this unit. It's great for overnight charging, but don't expect quick charging. I had a professional come out to wire this up since I didn't have time, but it really doesn't appear to be very difficult. As for the unit, I love it. It's very neat looking on the wall, and I like the LED charging indicators. The actual charge cable to your vehicle is long enough, but I do wish it were a bit longer. One thing I noticed (Compared to my parent's Tesla charger) is this is a smaller unit on the wall and personally prefer the way it works in comparison. The app is also really intuitive, I think this company has done a great job in all aspects.
