The media could not be loaded. I like this clock way more than I expected. It’s plastic, but you honestly can’t really tell—the gold details make it look like metal. The numbers have a subtle embossed (3D) look. I had to look closely to realize they’re molded into the surface rather than applied which gives it some dimension. Best part: it’s completely SILENT—no ticking at all, which was important for my kids’ bedroom. Battery compartment AAA size doesn't hold because it is missing the spring wire coil that would hold it to the contacts inside the compartment. There is no door cover either, but I don't think it is made with one so there's no other way to keep the AAA battery that it needs to operate the clock. I love the look of it, but will have to return it if they don't have those tiny thin wire coils for sale. I took one out of my tiny flashlights to see if it would work and it did. I can't use my flashlight though without the coil. Tried to return it but the virtual button to "Continue" was not working either. Rufus couldn't respond to my request for help. If I can get the part I need, I'll upgrade my ratings. UPDATED January 21, 2026: Well, this was quite a project as the replacement they sent was also missing the spring! Amazon Customer Service was awesome though because they gave me a partial credit AND said I didn't have to return either of them! I purchased the small package of spring coils and yes, they worked and now BOTH of these are working like new. I only need one of them, but I sure appreciated the service I received. Easy to read, Clean modern design and matches my red, black, and stainless steel kitchen appliances. Also available in multiple colors. I do recommend it and will update on how long the battery lasts after I need to replace them. I used the Amazon Basic Alkaline batteries, although the wall clocks also take rechargeable batteries if desired. I'd purchase the 10 inch size again as it's easy for me to read from 10 feet away without glasses. Hope that helps folks decide if this is a good option for them.

It keeps accurate time. I liked that it is silent, no ticking. The size of the clock is good, however the visibility of the numbers is a little dark. The background color should be a little lighter or the numbers should be more visible or brighter. So early in the morning, it is hard to read without turning on the light. Otherwise this clock is good and for the price, it is a good value.
