The media could not be loaded. I was searching for a way to use my phone less in the evenings and not depend on it for an alarm. The Hatch is absolutely best case scenario what I was hoping for. I bought the Hatch Restore 3 in Rosy, and I'm obsessed with the soft pink color. It helps me wind down without using my phone at night, and now I don't have to sleep with my phone on my bedside table. I'm way less distracted by it and it gives me such peace of mind. Now I can leave my phone charging in another room. Not only am I sleeping better, but it's just more fun having the Hatch to play wind down sounds and soothing lights in the evenings. The big top button is so satisfying and it's truly such a simple clean design. In the mornings, I wake up to gentle light and sound from the Hatch. You can customize it to whatever settings you need to wake up. The settings across the board are SO customizable to tailor to exactly what you're looking for. There's also a deep library of music/sound design paired with soft lighting effects with different themes to help you find what style best suits you. The app is SO PRETTY and well designed, they've made it so easy to use and clearly crafted with everyone's wellbeing in mind. Truly a huge fan of the Hatch 3 I'd recommend it to anyone searching for a calmer, less phone-invasive evening and morning routine. I'm so happy with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Don’t let the subscription deter you, this alarm clock is completely usable without it. The monthly subscription is mainly for more sounds and bedtime stories, plus 2 added steps to your sleep/wake routine which are ‘Unwind’ and ‘Morning Moment’. I’d suggest setting up some routines while on the free version, to get the feel of it first; then get the free trial and immediately cancel it, so you don’t get charged but can try it out for a month. (Keep the alarms when you cancel!) If you realize that you like the subscription version more than the free: the monthly price is $5 totaling to $60 a year, and the yearly subscription is $50. The sunrise feature is super customizable, you can have the dim lamp go very bright within 5 minutes or up to an hour. There’s 28 different sleep sounds, 12 sunrises, and 13 alarm sounds to choose from without a subscription. Hatch claims this alarm is science-backed in lulling you to sleep but also waking you up gradually and peacefully. Listening to brown noise definitely helps me stay asleep for most of the night; whereas before, I’d wake up numerous times every single night. Also I can for sure say that after having this clock for a few months, not once have I woken up to a jarringly loud alarm and jumped out of bed after realizing I snoozed all of my alarms, like I did with iPhone alarms. The biggest issue is that it relies on a constant WiFi/power connection. If a cell tower nearby goes down or there’s no power, you’re stuck without an alarm clock. I got the Putty color option, it’s a lighter tan with a hint of pink. The video I included shows the Brown Noise sleep sound and the light color Evening Sun. There are instructions that come with the clock that tell you where to touch for adjusting the volume and light, how the two Rest/Rise buttons at the top work, and how to set up the clock within the app. It took about 10 minutes for my clock to connect and register/update, so don’t be worried if it takes awhile. Upon opening this alarm clock, I’d recommend placing the box upright and pulling the top of the box off, so the clock stays in the bottom of the box and doesn’t fall out. Not only is this an aesthetic clock, but it’s also a sound machine, an alarm, and a curated sunrise. The ability to have a different alarm schedule is a huge bonus as well, especially if you have a differing morning routine depending on the day. Honestly, the price could definitely be lower, but I believe it’s just about worth it over other options.

Comes at a hefty price but it is well worth it in the long run. Completely changes the sleep experience and leads to a much more positive morning and rest of the day. The app is easy to use and allows for a lot of flexibility in the way you wake up. My "sun" rises 30 minutes before I wake up and means that when the "birds chirping" sound effect begins I am already awake. Leads to a very peaceful return from sleep. I am so excited to go to bed at night and wake up to my Hatch alarm. The clock looks great on a desk and is minimalist. The buttons are well designed for functionality and ease of use. I highly recommend this product.

THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. No lie, it really has. I even convinced my in-laws and sister to buy one. I used to be tired every day and would always try and sleep in. Since purchasing this, I wake up early and also wake up happy. The setup was flawless and easy to do. The noise level is able to be changed to your preference, and it is very durable (just ask my toddlers!). I love the functionality and features of it and love the timekeeping aspect of it and how it allows me to set my own routines for bedtime and wakeups. It's amazing.
