If you're like me and your phone alarm and a regular alarm clock can't wake you from a deep slumber, this one will definitely do the trick! I've bought 2 so far - one for each bedroom, and it works like a charm. Not only is the alarm itself very loud, but the buzzer works great! Other people have noted that they place it in their bed - which I'm sure works fine - but I actually place it on the ground. When the buzzer goes off, it starts clacking around on the ground, which not only provides additional noise to the alarm itself, but also has the added benefit of waking up my dogs (who then assist in waking me up.) Again, if you are a heavy sleeper, I cannot recommend this alarm enough. After years of looking for a "loud" alarm clock, I finally found one that does the job. ... show more

I am not joking when I said this alarm clock saved my career. I sleep like a log. It's bad enough that I slept through the ambulance taking my mother to the hospital. Before getting this gem of a product, I wasn't waking up to my phone alarm. I had like 6 alarms set in 15 minute intervals. My company is family-owned and very lenient about their late policy. I used to always be the first one to arrive, but when I wasn't waking up to my alarm, I was 30 minutes to 3 hours late. My boss was threatening me with making me take a later shift, which I really didn't want to do. I bought this alarm clock and got same day delivery.
