I adore Clocky! Very good at getting me out of bed for those wretched early morning meetings. Alarm is not very loud and has no volume adjustment, but it is odd and annoying like white noise so there is no way to sleep through it. Even when chasing Clocky around to shut it off, I can't get mad at him because he's just too cute. He also fascinates both my dog and cats. This clock is well-made, and definitely helps me get up in the morning. It is not a normal alarm clock, as it rolls around and jumps off things and makes weird sounds to wake you up. All Alarm clocks can do is wake you up. You do have to have the will to get up after that. But I highly recommend, if you are a heavy sleeper or if you just can't get up in the morning. The media could not be loaded. This clocky does everything it says, accept mine stops moving after 30-45 seconds. I don’t know if it’s supposed to do that but I didn’t want to return it. I bought this for my daughter who struggles to wake up. She says it works great and gets her up. Things to know…It needs lithium batteries but they can be purchased anywhere that regular batteries are sold. If you want the clock to remain stationary, you can easily set it so that it doesn’t move. It’s not as difficult to set the time as some people have indicated. Read instructions and you will be fine. I share a bed with a deep sleeper; the alarms on an iPhone or an Alexa, or even most bedside clocks are useless. I got this hoping that a loud AF clock that rolls off the table and then proceeds to roam the room would be the thing that would finally get him moving. He set the time on the clock, then set an alarm for a few minutes away to see how it would work. The alarm went off as expected, but the volume was very lacking. We decided to try it the next morning -- maybe it would seem louder in the morning than midday. The next morning, the alarm went off *around* 8:40 am (more on this to come) and sounded like a kids' toy robot -- and not loud. It *did* roll off the bedside table, eliciting a response from the two dogs that amounted to "What was that?" but then they both went right back to sleep. Clocky proceeded to roll maybe a foot, and then just sounded its diminutive alarm. Shock -- nobody woke up to the alarm. When I did get up, I found Clocky right under the edge of the bed when I noticed the time said something like 11:05... but the alarm had gone off when it was set to; not sure what's up with that. At 9:45 am today, the time on Clocky said 1:05. So yeah, all done here with this one. There must be better options in an alarm clock -- one that alarms loudly enough to wake you up and clocks well enough to keep time. ... show more

It doesn't work as well as we'd hoped. Only used it a couple times and qhen using the alarm with motion, it just stops. Not sure why, but battery is low...so that could be it. Just started using it after Christmas.

Clocky was put into service last night and the following morning was amazing! Everyone was up on time, had their breakfast and was out the door early with their shoes on, hair and teeth brushed. I have been using Clocky for 11 months and cannot imagine going back to a traditional alarm that is easily defeated. Clocky is accurate and reliable. I know the time at a glance. Clocky is easy to use. The 6 control buttons are clearly marked and intuitive. Clocky is a marvel of industrial design. It is unique and hard to categorize. It could be Retro, or Avantgarde, or cool, or geeky. For me Clocky is the perfect design for a mobility alarm clock. Clocky's wheels are large, giving the clock body adequate ground clearance to run around the room daring me to catch it, while mocking my lethargy with quirky noises, words, songs and R2D2-like beeps. I like that I have to chase Clocky to silence the alarm, and I like the alarm. It is quirky and whimsical and just loud enough not to be ignored. If getting up is hard, Clocky will make it easier.
