š Abunda's Overview
This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.
Many reviewers appreciated the clock's large, easily readable numbers and auto-dimming feature which they found useful in the dark. However, the lightweight and slightly cheap feel of the clock left some desiring more robust quality. Confusion in setting the clock due to lack of instructions or readability was another regular frustration expressed.
Pros
- š¹ Large, easily readable numbers
- š¹ Auto-dimming feature for nighttime
- š¹ Compact design, doesn't take up much space
- š¹ Adjustable brightness
Cons
- šø Feels cheap and lightweight
- šø Can be difficult to set without instructions
- šø May easily tip over due to lightweight
- šø Potential missing components or poor quality control
Should I Buy It?
If you're seeking a clock with easy readability and useful features like auto-dimming, this could be a good match for your needs. However, consider the lightness and potential confusion in setting up the clock, and if these are factors that might frustrate you, you may want to explore other options.
Good quality

Stylish, Easy to Read, and Surprisingly Versatile
Color: Gold
I didnāt expect to love an alarm clock this much, but the SZELAM has completely won me over. The sleek mirror-style display looks modern on my nightstand and doubles as a quick mirror in the morning (perfect for checking if I actually brushed my hair). The large numbers are crisp and easy to read, even from across the room, and the adjustable brightness means itās not blinding at night. I also like that it has both 12-hour and 24-hour settings, plus the temperature display is a nice bonus. Setting the alarm is straightforward, and the snooze function is just long enough to feel indulgent without making me late. The compact size makes it ideal for a nightstand, desk, or even travel. For the price, youāre getting both form and function ā Iād buy it again in a heartbeat.

It's great for a short period of time
Color: Rose Gold
It was a really great clock! But it did not last very long at all. Pros: Easy to assemble, and it looks very great in my room! I also really love being able to adjust the brightness; the lowest setting is perfect for nighttime, and the highest setting is the perfect brightness during the day. Cons: It does not have very good mirror functionality at all, which was not very disappointing to me, but if you were looking forward to that it's something you should know. It also is very lightweight, which is perfect if you want to hang it somewhere, but if you are just setting on something it could very easily be knocked over. Another thing to note is that the alarm function is very difficult to figure out. It worked great, and I loved it for the first 9 months.... but then the light adjustment function just stopped working all together. I was pretty disappointed but continued to use the clock. About a month later the entire clock stopped working altogether and I was unable to use it at all. So, it only ended up lasting about 10 months which is not good for a $20 clock.

An Elegant and Thoughtful Gift for My Work Bestie
Color: White
I had a hard time deciding what to give my work bestie for her birthday, so I was genuinely happy when I found this digital clock. It looks elegant and more expensive than it actually is, making it a presentable and thoughtful gift without being overly costly. The modern mirrored design gives it a clean, stylish appearance that would fit nicely on a desk, vanity, or nightstand. Iām excited to give it to her because I truly think sheāll love it.

Donāt do it! But if youāre considering, please read my long review.
If you actually need to wake up on time, donāt do it. Oh where to beginā¦ Ok so, you can only set 1 alarm. Thereās also only 1 volume and it cannot be adjusted. So, when the alarm goes off, it sounds off for 2 minutes. Might sound like enough to some, but depending on how you sleep, it may not be and donāt you want an alarm that actually does what itās supposed to do no matter the conditions? If you donāt wake up within that 2 minute period, YOU'RE SCREWED. It will not come back on. And since you cannot adjust the volume or set a second/back up alarm, youāre late. Late to work or wherever you have to be. You also have to be an IT expert and learn how to code before using this. Thatās right, itās coded. Therefore, do not think youāll read the instructions ONE TIME to set the time or the alarm and think youāll remember how to do either the next time. You could be in the Guinness Book for #1 Genius in the world and itās just not happening. I would consider myself above average on the tech savvy meter. Well above average. But this isnāt about me is it? The point is, no one wants their alarm clock to be this difficult. NO ONE wants to think this hard to set an alarm after a long stressful day. Setting our alarms should be one of the easiest things we do in a day. And you will have to do it every day bc thereās no recurring alarm feature either. Oh and itās very obvious that the person who wrote the user āmanualā (itās more of a little pamphlet but whatever) itās very obvious that English is NOT their first language. Listen, I personally am all about diversity and inclusion and accepting ALL people no matter who they are. HOWEVER, just bc I would consider my second language to be Spanish (bc itās the only other language I know lol) doesnāt mean I would ever think Iām qualified to write a pamphlet/manual/whatever in Spanish. No! Iām not the right person for that job. See where Iām going with this? The moral of this long A$$ story is that if you want an alarm clock thatās user friendly and will actually do what an alarm clock is supposed to do, trust me, this aināt it! Actually, the one Iāve already gotten to replace this is everything I need and more. Your time and money are valuable. Itās not worth the risk of you being late to work/court/kids/clients/ETC. Keeping looking friends.
