⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Addition to My Nighttime Routine I’ve been using the Hatch Restore 3 for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The sunrise alarm makes waking up feel much more natural, and the white noise helps me fall asleep faster without reaching for my phone. I also love how simple and elegant it looks on my nightstand—it blends in perfectly with my bedroom. The setup was quick, and the app is easy to use. It’s definitely more expensive than a regular alarm clock, but the quality and features make it worth the investment. If you’re trying to improve your sleep habits or just want a more relaxing bedtime routine, I highly recommend it!

First off, it's a very nice clock. I'm embarrassed to admit one of my favorite things about it is that it's chic and looks great on my nightstand (see photo). I got the cocoa and it's a really beautiful brown. It gets nice and bright to wake me up in the morning. It also has good sound quality for it's size, I was impressed. I also really like that the time display automatically dims, and you can do a simple tap to make it come up again. The buttons have a really nice/satisfying subtle click, they're easy to use even in the dark. The clock is easy to snooze and easy to turn off your alarm. I like the options to pause and switch between the unwind routines, as well as the button to turn the alarm off totally (for days I let myself sleep in.) I bought it to upgrade from a different sunrise alarm that I had, so I didn't understand the whole deal of the routines, so that was a really nice surprise. I have been working to get off my phone before bed, but am naturally suspicious of anything that promises to help with that. You have to do the initial set up of the routines on the phone, but once you do that, they're all set and the controls are pretty straight forward. I have it setup now with two different unwinds and a few alarms I toggle on and off depending on when I need to wake up (e.g. some days I gym before my kid wakes up etc.) I really like the short little podcasts that come with the premium subscription. The history one and the "nightly" is very fun! I haven't tried any of the meditations but I like that they're there. I usually listen to podcasts before bed which kept my phone right next to me on the nightstand, but now I listen to the podcasts via the clock and so I leave my phone further from my bed at night, a big win. I don't love that you have to sign up for the free trial of the premium content on initial setup, that was a little annoying. That being said, the content that comes with it is pretty good and I am now a paying subscriber, so they got me there. It's a really nice clock, if you are trying to get off your phone at night and doomscroll less in bed, this will definitely achieve that if you invest the time in the initial setup to get your unwind routines set up. I've had it for a little under two weeks and I'm falling asleep faster and feel better rested. Definitely worth the money.

I have been a deep sleeper my whole life (setting five alarms in the morning and not waking up to any of them), and this hatch alarm has significantly helped with my sleeping routine! The sunrise lights up my room without any blue light, which is especially helpful for winter and early morning wake-ups. The app also allows you to choose your sunrise colors/brightness/alarm sounds so you can definitely find something that works for you. A plus is that you can play white noise/ other sounds while sleeping! One of my favorite features is the bathroom light on the side of the alarm that is super easy to turn on/off so you don’t ruin your eyes with overhead lights. You can also turn on the light in fun color-ways at the front of the alarm during the day! Finally, I love how the alarm looks on my nightstand-it’s the perfect size and it matches my decor perfectly. You can also turn on and off the clock during the day and night and dim the time for readability at night. Love this alarm clock!

As I am making a major effort to really pay attention to my sleep quality, I purchased this clock after being recommended by a friend and I am very pleased - I truly did not think it would make as much of an impact on my sleep quality as it has. I waited a month to write this review and can share my honest thoughts: Pros: -I love the minimalism and appearance of the device itself. It is not an eyesore; the colors are soothing and the display is easy to read. The one button interface is also quite easy to use first thing in the morning - the sound library is extensive, and there are so many options to choose from. Think spa/soothing music as well as relaxing nature sounds - the sound quality of the speaker itself is impressive. It really transforms my entire room into a much cozier environment. - setting up a routine is a very handy way to both ease into sleep and ease into the morning. My old iPhone alarm was stressful and annoying and this takes a much more serene, gradual approach. Also offers many options for how to wake up (on a specific minute, over a period of time, etc) so it is flexible to each person’s needs Cons: -the app interface and instructions could use a little work in terms of getting started out of the box (understanding how routines work, what the buttons do). But the support team is extremely responsive and helped me through this very clearly, and once you figure it out using it is a breeze -some of the sounds in the library are a little ridiculous (there is a stand up routine option? Doesn’t really affect the product I just can’t imagine who would use that lol) All in all this is such a game changer for my sleep. I feel like I can fall asleep so much easier, and it helps redirect my distracted mind which I often find racing at night. Super recommend this to anyone looking to improve their sleep hygiene!

I LOVE my new Hatch. I always had issues getting myself to wind down at night, but Hatch has taken the (over)thinking out of it! The calming cue telling me to switch into that night-mode is something I used to fight, and now something I look forward to. I love the variety of options in music, light, sounds and meditations to help calm my racing mind before bed. I definitely had alarm fatigue so having new options for waking up makes it a nice surprise and helps me start my day on the right foot. I used to stay up so late, sabotaging my sleep, forcing a later wake up, and Hatch is helping me shift my night schedule earlier and I’m feeling more refreshed when I wake up and more well-rested throughout the day. During these stressful times, I’ve been recommending this to all my friends as a really helpful tool with managing stress, anxiety and sleep patterns. Thanks, Hatch!

I absolutely love my Hatch Restore sunrise alarm clock. It has genuinely helped me sleep better and wake up feeling more rested. The design is so aesthetically pleasing and fits perfectly into my bedroom decor without looking bulky or distracting. One of my favorite things is how many sound options there are — from calming nature sounds to white noise and guided sleep content, there’s truly something for everyone. The setup process was also incredibly easy. The app walks you through everything with thoughtful, purposeful questions that help personalize the experience specifically to your sleep and wake needs. I debated how to rate this. So, for aesthetics and functionality as a sunrise alarm clock 15/10!!!!! It's really a beautiful, soothing, modern looking device that fits perfectly in my space. Occasionally I use a sunset wind down routine while I'm reading. I don't use sounds at night and prefer quiet. So I've never used any of the sleepy time podcasts and all that. Now for the app- it's just overpriced and overdone, not well designed and keeps a lot of really basic functions behind a paywall. I'm not about to pay 12 dollars a month to have a different species of bird than the one that currently does wake me up at 6 am. It would be nice to have the option though. If you are the kind of person that appreciates curated white noise machines at night, wind down podcasts and so on this could be a great device. For the price I paid for this alarm clock though I think at least basic alarm options should be available without a monthly subscription. Also making the device simply cross compatible with other apps to access my own music and podcasts would be nice. The reading light is SO bright which is nice. But it's too bright so I never use it. I wish there were an option to customize that. All that being said the basic functionality and beauty the clock and the ease and personalization I can access for my alarm itself is all really high quality.

The buttons are a little tricky to get a hang of, but overall this alarm is fantastic! There are so many different alarm sounds, meditations and songs to choose from. The alarm is very reliable and hasn’t failed on me. I’ve only had the alarm for about a week, but I’ve already fallen in love! Another great feature is the variety of light colors and brightnesses. It has helped me fall asleep faster because of the great bedtime meditations and sleep sounds. Definitely worth the price!
