I was a bit apprehensive about ordering boots from Amazon, especially those made of faux leather as these sometimes have a tendency to look cheap and plastic. I couldn’t be more delighted with these boots. Unless you are looking closely these boots look and feel like real leather. They are very well made with attention to small details, look stylish and much more expensive than the price paid. Aside from this they were true to size (I even have some room to wear with socks as well as stockings) and they were comfortable to wear right out of the box. There is ample toe room and good cushioning at the ball of the foot as well. If these boots had been made of genuine leather I’d have happily paid 4-5x the price to get them. If you are on the fence at all on purchasing - do it! I’ll be coming back for more in another color. ... show more

UPDATE: These were comfy walking around downtown AND the soles have nonslip deeper tread so they’re actually great in the snow! You can look fashionable while being warm and comfy, AND not fall on your butt in winter weather. It’s a a WIN!! Already recommended to my fellow middle aged moms. Haha These are comfy and quality looking sleek design without being clunky! I have 15” muscular calves, and they fit with enough room to comfortably accommodate thick boot socks for winter. Just enough heel to them but still be able to comfortably walk (I’m perimenopausal, comfort is my goal now! lol) I’ll be wearing these to an event downtown tomorrow night with lots of walking, so I’ll update my review. They have a good grip for slip resistance without being noisy on hard flooring. I’m usually a 9.5, and ordered the 9.5. These boots are so comfortable and well made! Size is perfect! Only reason I did t give 5 stars is because I wanted a tight fitting pair around my skinny legs… and they bunch up around the ankle.
