I actually really like this mister. It was super easy to install. It goes onto your existing fan with zip ties. You put the water hose (valve end) onto the nub, and attach the other end to a water spigot. Turn the water on and open up the valve and it starts misting. It's easy peasy lemon squeezy! You can adjust how much mist with the water valve too. We have already had a couple of hot day in Northern Virginia, but with this fan mister we have been able to enjoy our deck without feeling like we are melting. There is one thing that is midly annoying. The water valve leaks. It's not a bad leak, but it does drip. To be honest, I'm not sure if it is leaking or if it is just condensation. It's not enough for us to stop using the mister or for me to change my rating which is more like 4.5 stars due to the dripping. This is definitely an outdoor kind of thing, but I don't think I would ever use a mister indoors anyways. Even with the dripping, I would still highly recommend this product!

initially, I was weary of having this run with the hose so close to the same fan using AC due to it being a bit of a hazard but after setting it up properly, I don't see myself using any regular fan setup here in Texas. this kept the back patio cooler than expected and the kids love coming over to get refreshed after being out in the heat.

Love this idea, and the kit is pretty much exactly what I wanted, expect for the hose bib connector. Mounts easily onto my fan - just remove the front ran guard ring (look for little tabs around the center) as if you were cleaning dirt off the fan, and then zip tie, and clip the ring in place on the guard. Put back on the unit, close the locking tabs and you're ready to go. I keep the fan at a slight downward angle so if there is ever any leaks or drips (so far, none) it hopefully won't run back into the electrics (indoor rated fan, non weather resistant) and fry it out. It has a wireless remote control feature that make it easier to damage. In use does mist, and it does help. Living the desert SW misters are very nice in early summer - come later when its really humid not as much, but I will get a couple of months good usage out of this. Only fly is the hose connector being plastic. Would have preferred a brass fitting and may end up fabricating one if I every have problems. I may also install a RV style water pressure regulator and a in line lime/calcium filter as our water out here is very hard and PSI is pretty high out of the taps.

I would give it 5 stars but I have to figure out how to keep the hose from blowing out off the faucet. That wasn't very smart to reduce a water. Hose spike it down to a 1/8 of an inch Venezuela's. It cannot handle any bit of pressure except for a drip. Or blows the black hose out. The adapter.. If they were to fix that I think it would be five stand a great product..

Very easy to install (with the correct tool to loop the zip ties). I struggle with a fork for a few minutes then I grabbed a fish line tool and was able to do it much more quickly. I'm not terribly great with my fine motor skills so I couldn't do it without a tool. It fit very easy on my standard water hose line. Sprays like a champ and the knob can be controlled. Fan not needed for it to work!

This misting device kit is something that I have been considering over the years and I finally decided on getting one for myself. I actually like this kit. It was very easy to assemble. I put it on my circular oscilating fan and I have it outside on my deck. The installation process was... Pretty easy. And it's made from a decent quality. I like the way it performs. It will help to cool you off when you're outside. The airflow will depend on the type of fan that you're using, but in my opinion, this is a really nice device and it will help to keep you cooler on a hot day.

Mister ring is quick and easy to apply to my fan - I did not use the cable ties but instead used some double stick tape so that I can easily remove it from the fan when done. No leaks and no dripping at the faucet adapter, and the tubing is fairly light-weight and flexible. Misters in this kit are the brass type that are commonly used and are replaceable when they inevitably get clogged.

Being in Florida around the summer is brutal sometimes, really happy I found this mister especially as it attached to a fan I already had making it so much easy to recommend. The hose is fairly long making it much easier to locate nearer water faucets but it is a little on the cheaper side of quality as its all plastic parts, I would likely recommend not to leave the full set outside as I can see it breaking down overtime. The attachment was super easy to attach and it worked great! it does drip quite a bit so bare that in mind for placement but overall I think this is a great addition to help keep cool in the sun!
