I bought this as an add-on to my 10' canopy tent that I use in a weekend market to provide a little shade from the head-on high sun. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! ***** ALSO, setup is easy, even for someone who has to set it up and tear it down daily AND I can do it by myself - two people not needed (though it does help). The versatility in setup is endless! The different height setups for the "legs" (side poles) is amazing as well the versatility of the connecting rods for the front of the shade canopy. Then to top it all off is the handle for easy roll-up and roll-out to chane the angle of the shade once it is set up is so easy. Everything about this, including the great value in price is great! It is sturdy and looks great too! It nicely complements my canopy tent and will make its usefulness even better when I use the tent for a picnic or camping outing. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Been looking for a more effective way to shade my patio besides using multiple umbrellas and finally decided to try this awning. A bit challenging to put together, but it works great. Love that it's freestanding, easy to deploy and retract, looks great and is affordable. Wish I got it sooner.

Liked how easy it was to setup. It does get a little windy in my backyard, but not to bring it down. It’s a shame that it didn’t stay up overnight.

Installed this earlier this summer to block the sun coming into my work space. Fastened it to the house as the space dimensions didn't work for installing it as intended. Awning works great. Cranks open & closed easily. Has withstood some heavier winds when I forgot to roll it closed before a storm. I would recommend it as a good value for the price.

Arrived a day earlier than expected. Took about 2 hours to build and set up. Works great! The front pole that goes across the front of the awning is cheap. It bows in the center. Some of the plastic parts should have been made of metal. Time will tell on the plastic parts?? For the price it's totally worth it!

It’s very nice and I love it but the directions putting it together is not as clear as should be. How the directions are written it’s hard to understand. Took me and my husband almost 2 hours to put together. Almost sent it back but I needed it for the weekend and no time to order a different one. Now that it is together it’s very nice and should serve the purpose, I hope!
