I bought 2 for a pair. These pedestals were easy to assemble alone for this old lady and the holes matched to fit the screws perfectly. Packed nicely and received all the necessary screws, nuts with tools. Took me about 3.5 hours to put both together. The only flaw was one of the gliders for the drawer was bent and misaligned, but was able to fix with my trusty hammer. The drawers were a little hard to insert into the glider tracks but worked with a little force. Know that the drawers do not accommodate bottles that are higher than 11 inches. My 4.5 cu washer feet are 27Wx 26D, the stand is 27 x 28. When the washer was on spin for the first cycle, the pedestal rocked slightly and sort of lifted up on one side but went back into place after cycle was done. (Only caught this twice.). Realized it could be from the placement of the pads not directly under the feet. (Hint: measure the distance between the front and back feet for placement of pads before putting washer on stand.) However, the stands have held up after several washes and not moved from the original placement. Know that the metal is not super thick or totally rock solid that with enough force they couldn’t be bent, but honestly they are similar metal thickness as my previous pedestals that were sold by the manufacturer. I chose this set because I wanted the ability to access behind the washer and dryer without moving the machines. The stands have been sturdy and I am satisfied with my purchase and price. This stand is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and the directions were clear and easy to follow (all picture instructions). There were no missing parts and everything fit together perfectly. Once assembled it is easy to move around because it is not too heavy. The drawer is very sturdy with good quality drawer slides. It also opens and closes very smoothly. It has pads to attach to the legs for smooth moving and keeping it in place when your washer or dryer is on it. It also has pads that go on top to cushion the machine and keep it steady. I highly recommend this as an affordable choice of stand if you are on a tight budget like me. ... show more

The stands are solid when they are put together. I had to have someone else put them together for me when they were finished and they put the machines on them. They needed to be adjusted before they worked in a stable way. The drawer underneath is helpful for storage, but it’s not quite as big as the ones you buy from the manufacturer still, there are good value for the money and I would buy them again. ... show more

This unit is so poorly designed that it will not assemble squarely. Once assembled the he draw is 1/4 inch too narrow for the slide assembly and cannot be installed. I am going to install it without the drawer as i have spent too much time trying to make it fit.

We bought one unit for the Whirlpool dryer. Our washer is top loader. I did find the unit when built and dryer on it was very sturdy. I did find the dimensions were a bit off which caused me to assemble it with the flat top up and not with the dryer inside the edges. Actual outside dimensions are 27" wide x 28" deep. Our dryer feet were 27 1/2" side to side so we had to use the flat side up on the tray. I would not use the flat side up on a washer. I would be afraid the washer would vibrate off the stool. I used my own tools 10mm open end wrench and a 4mm allen wrench. I got tired of trying to get the 10mm wrench in there so I opted to use a 10mm socket with an extension. The unit seems to be power coated so some of the holes are a bit tight to get the screws pushed thru. But let me say we are very happy with the stool. Drawer works perfect and it looks good. Something to keep in mind, we took the feet off the dryer to make things look good. Not sure how that will affect also using one with a washer next to it, height wise, just saying. Since we did the flat top I put the screw heads out in the front to make my wife happy about the look off the unit. ... show more
