    • How do the pedestals stand up?
Style: Laundry Pedestal w/ Drawer
Review Image by Mom
I bought 2 for a pair. These pedestals were easy to assemble alone for this old lady and the holes matched to fit the screws perfectly. Packed nicely and received all the necessary screws, nuts with tools. Took me about 3.5 hours to put both together. The only flaw was one of the gliders for the drawer was bent and misaligned, but was able to fix with my trusty hammer. The drawers were a little hard to insert into the glider tracks but worked with a little force. Know that the drawers do not accommodate bottles that are higher than 11 inches. My 4.5 cu washer feet are 27Wx 26D, the stand is 27 x 28. When the washer was on spin for the first cycle, the pedestal rocked slightly and sort of lifted up on one side but went back into place after cycle was done. (Only caught this twice.). Realized it could be from the placement of the pads not directly under the feet. (Hint: measure the distance between the front and back feet for placement of pads before putting washer on stand.) However, the stands have held up after several washes and not moved from the original placement. Know that the metal is not super thick or totally rock solid that with enough force they couldn’t be bent, but honestly they are similar metal thickness as my previous pedestals that were sold by the manufacturer. I chose this set because I wanted the ability to access behind the washer and dryer without moving the machines. The stands have been sturdy and I am satisfied with my purchase and price. Hope this review helps the next person’s decision. ... show more

    • Solid, easy assembly - works great.
Style: Laundry Pedestal w/ Drawer
Easy assembly and works great with our new washer. Also, it is half the price of the OEM model.

It seems sturdy so it gets a star, but assembly is incomplete and I’m shipping back. First off, directions are horrendous. The directions are incorrect to continue through each “Stpe”. Stpe 1, either pieces are improperly marked or the directions are wrong. Disassemble, rearrange move to Stpe 2. Stpe 3, the previous owner noticeably had not attempted, incorrect illustrations. After tightening 28 nuts and bolts I find that one of the drawer sliders is broken and assembly is impossible. Replacement parts are also unavailable so if you purchase go through parts list thoroughly and use the directions as a rough guideline on the order in which to assemble, but not necessarily the orientation of the pieces. Booo Also, not terribly impressed with the packaging of a LIKE NEW product. Just a large box with metal pieces covered in tattered painters tape moving around freely with a random pillow and Whole Foods paper sack ... show more

    • Works perfectly, but…
Style: Laundry Pedestal w/ Drawer
First. Assembly was easy, just take a little time and don’t tighten everything until it’s assembled. The one thing to note, nuts go on the outside of the corners not inside. The big issue is the dimensions on the site are incorrect. The unit is 27 inches Wide and 28 inches Deep.. The product description says just the opposite. I was panicked that I purchased a unit that my new laundry pair wouldn’t fit on…until I got my tape measure and verified the “correct” dimensions. Also doesn’t matter which way the top goes on the base, it bolts correctly either way. Unit is sturdy and works well. Be aware, if you are purchasing new laundry units the delivery service will not put the washer/dryer on these or any stands that aren’t sold by that retailer…insurance and liability policy. Be prepared to find a friend to help you lift them… ... show more

    • Good price and work as they should.
Style: Laundry Pedestal w/ Drawer
The stands are solid when they are put together. I had to have someone else put them together for me when they were finished and they put the machines on them. They needed to be adjusted before they worked in a stable way. The drawer underneath is helpful for storage, but it’s not quite as big as the ones you buy from the manufacturer still, there are good value for the money and I would buy them again. ... show more

We bought one unit for the Whirlpool dryer. Our washer is top loader. I did find the unit when built and dryer on it was very sturdy. I did find the dimensions were a bit off which caused me to assemble it with the flat top up and not with the dryer inside the edges. Actual outside dimensions are 27" wide x 28" deep. Our dryer feet were 27 1/2" side to side so we had to use the flat side up on the tray. I would not use the flat side up on a washer. I would be afraid the washer would vibrate off the stool. I used my own tools 10mm open end wrench and a 4mm allen wrench. I got tired of trying to get the 10mm wrench in there so I opted to use a 10mm socket with an extension. The unit seems to be power coated so some of the holes are a bit tight to get the screws pushed thru. But let me say we are very happy with the stool. Drawer works perfect and it looks good. Something to keep in mind, we took the feet off the dryer to make things look good. Not sure how that will affect also using one with a washer next to it, height wise, just saying. Since we did the flat top I put the screw heads out in the front to make my wife happy about the look off the unit. ... show more

This stand is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and the directions were clear and easy to follow (all picture instructions). There were no missing parts and everything fit together perfectly. Once assembled it is easy to move around because it is not too heavy. The drawer is very sturdy with good quality drawer slides. It also opens and closes very smoothly. It has pads to attach to the legs for smooth moving and keeping it in place when your washer or dryer is on it. It also has pads that go on top to cushion the machine and keep it steady. I highly recommend this as an affordable choice of stand if you are on a tight budget like me. ... show more

I used this pedestal under my dryer and it is a game changer. No more bending and reaching for items. It brings the dryer door up to the perfect height for me (I'm 5'7") and I can still reach the controls located on the back side of my dryer. There is an added bonus of a drawer to store laundry supplies and the pedestal is heavy, sturdy, and does not rattle when the dryer is running. ... show more
