We love the final look of the install! Would like to see written instructions and better information. The anchors to hold the screws in the stucco didn’t hold and we had to improvise. Luckily we were on a stud. Drilling into concrete is also very difficult; even with the proper tools. Keeping the holes straight is a challenge in setting the pole. All in all; we made it work and looks great! Finally hid the pool equipment after 18 years…. Lol ... show more

    • Not an effective wind block.

I bought this to use for a wind block on a porch. When there’s wind, it just unrolls and bulges away from the direction of the wind and creates a big sail. If the awning had some sort of lock as you pulled it out, it may work for a wind block. Very disappointing.
