Works well with my 2022 Chevy Bolt EV at both 120VAC and 240 VAC. Was able to program the car to delay charging until middle of the night so I can take advantage of lower off-peak rates. The charger, 120V adapter, and the J1772 plug are all well-built and appear that they with last for a long time. The handy carry case is a nice touch, though I won't use it for this charger, as I've mounted it on the wall. This charger has a blue "standing by" light, however it is green when the car is delaying the charge - not a big deal, I just need to check with the car to see if it is actually charging or standing by. The biggest issue is cord wire gauge size. This charger uses 14 AWG wire, which is undersized for a 16-amp load. This means that the wire will get slightly warm during use, wasting energy. This 25-foot run will waste ~12 watts more energy compared to a one-size larger 12 AWG cable. Not much, maybe $1-$3 per year, and it would take *many* years to re-coop the cost of a larger wire, so this may be a reasonable trade-off. Obviously, the more you charge, the quicker that more expensive cable would pay for itself. So, if you can catch this charger on a lower price (check the price history), this charger is a really good deal. Even with the smaller-gauge cable, I could not measure nearly as much temperature rise as with the OEM Level 1 charger, which the cable (no size marked, though much smaller overall) would get warm to the touch with a measured 8-9 F degree rise, while this charger had only a 1-2 F degree rise - barely detectable to touch. Overall, I got a great deal at the lower price point and am expecting it will work well for a long time.

I replaced a failed hard-wired charger with a 20 Amp receptacle and now plug this charger into the receptacle for my 2014 Chevy Volt. I use it everyday and have been very happy with it so far. Simple device that works as advertised. I like the plastic dust cap to keep debris out of the plug.

I love my VEVOR LEVELS 1 & 2 EV Charger. I had an electrician add a 240 outlet to the side of my house so when I charge my vehicle, it takes 3-3 1/2 hours instead of 13-14 hours. I love the way this charger functions: with ease, no guessing, it’s durable, the cord is longer than the other charger cord. It can adjust to another cord if you get a longer one. It’s portable and comes with its own container. It’s compatible with my vehicle 100%.
