    • Excellent quality for the price
Size: 71''*118'' Color: Gray
Super easy installation. Surprisingly good quality, especially for the price. Works great to provide some privacy for my hot tub. The only caution would be to not get one longer than you need. Mine is about 3 ft longer than the distance it needs to span. When it's really windy, the wind gusts stretch it out further and it's rather loud and startling. Overall, I am delighted with this. ... show more

    • Perfect Solution for an Old Issue

The southeast wind poses a recurring challenge during winter and early spring when we're sitting on our deck trying to enjoy the fire pit area while watching TV and savoring a cocktail. I'm optimistic that I've discovered a practical solution to mitigate this problem. Overall, installation was straightforward, and it includes mounting hardware for both wood and concrete. In my case, when installing on a wooden deck, it's crucial to ensure there's enough substructure for the anchor bolts. In my situation, I didn't have this support, so I added extra deck boards underneath to achieve the necessary thickness for the anchor screws. Quality seems to be better than reported previously. We shall see on the durability. ... show more

    • Substantial Privacy Awning With Excellent Customer Service
Size: 71''*236'' Color: Gray
Review Image by p
The VEVOR Retractable Side Awning is a well-made, substantial product designed to provide privacy and sun protection for outdoor spaces. The aluminum construction feels solid and rust-resistant, and the fabric offers strong UV protection that would work well for patios, decks, or pool areas. The design itself is straightforward and functional. Once extended, it creates a clean visual barrier from the sun and wind and feels sturdy rather than flimsy. This is clearly intended as a more permanent outdoor solution rather than a temporary screen. One important consideration is installation. The awning must be securely mounted into concrete. As a renter, this was not an option for me, and that detail was not clear enough upfront. That said, customer service was excellent. The return was handled quickly and easily, with clear communication and no friction, which matters when a product ultimately is not a fit. For homeowners with the ability to install into concrete, this is a durable and effective option for creating privacy and shade. For renters, installation requirements are something to confirm before placing an order. A well-considered option that delivers visible results without unnecessary complexity. ... show more

    • Awesome!

This slide screen is really nice! It was easy to install & looks great! I used a 2x4 pressure treat board to attach it to the brick wall, that way It will set flat & level.

    • Don't do it, any brand but this one!
Size: 71''*118'' Color: Beige
OMG, where do I start! I received the item and opened it up for install. I immediately noticed that the plastic surrounding the item seemed to be wet with oil? Upon removing the plastic and wiping down the oil (?) I noticed the awning container that is supposed to be mounted on the house was an extremely thin metal, literally I could crush it with my hand like a soda can. Alas, I assumed it was to cover the awning only and perhaps it didnt need to be heavy gauge. Upon mounting the awing on my home, the seams of the metal enclosure holding the awning separated at the bottom causing serious concerns about the overall integrity and longevity of the item itself. Upon opening the awing, I found it to appear stretched and mis-shapen, frayed along the edges, I actually couldnt believe what I had received and started to wonder if somehow a crap company had gotten through the Amazon vetting process and I had been scammed. Once the awning was extended, it would not retract. Immediately pulled it from my home and contacted the company for a refund. The company offered a $10 dollar refund if I kept the item. Upon declining the $10, they said they would provide a refund but I was responsible for shipping costs. I explained that their item was poor quality and the description misleading and insisted they pay return shipping at which time all communication stopped. Item is going straight into the garbage, let the buyer beware. ... show more

    • Works well as a wind break
Size: 63''*118'' Color: Gray
West winds have been stronger this year. Installed this on a gazebo post to pull out when I am grilling. Gusts up to 20mph do not affect it. Much stronger than that I probably won’t be grilling anyway. FYI that the concrete anchors are metric and require a 12mm bit. Lucky I had one for my SDS drill. Read online that using a 1/2” bit instead allow anchors to pull out. ... show more
