This product is a great look a like for the super expensive ones. No one can even tell the difference. Install was easy and straightforward, put caulk after installed.. It did come with silver hardware, I just painted it black, which is why I took off 1 star.

Came up short a couple of screws but otherwise it came together easily and is really sturdy. Had to adjust for a corrugated siding but otherwise after this first snow that we had it worked really well. Talked about a foot and a half 2 ft of space from snow to door which is exactly what we wanted it for.

Two days (!!!!!) after installing it’s a classic example of “you get what you pay for”. The paint chip and it’s now gone in large parts. I wonder if the paint makes it one week?!?!

Pros: Easy to assemble and install for a professional. The panels are straight and look good. It holds up well to rain and wind. Cons: The frame is about as crooked as an orange president. There is no way to straighten it either. It's built with a bow that makes the final install look less than par. There are also 3 pieces that are meant to provide a cover/weather strip at the top. These pieces do not have enough holes to adequately fasten them in place. I had to drill a few holes and use a pop rivet to attach them. The panels are labeled with stickers to identify them, sounds great. The stickers are very hard to remove and leave residue. They were almost all stuck on the face that would show. Meaning I had to Macguyver a solution to get them off. Finally settled on fingernails/ rubbing and isopropyl alcohol. If you are handy and understand how things like this should work you will be able to make a fairly nice looking and sturdy awning. If you are not handy, do not attempt this project. Seek professional help. And don't expect the frame to be straight.
