I really liked this item. Amazing value for price. Very sturdy and light in weight. Very well packed. I have bought many Vevor products, some from Amazon and some direct from Vevor and have been very satisfied. The instructions are very minimal with their products, bordering on less than adequate, particularly when assembly is required. In this case, There were 3 strips of metal. One went in the middle of the two carbonate panels and held them together, the edge of the panels going into the slots formed by H shaped strip. Well there was no way these panels were going to slide into these slots nor could they be forced in edgewise. The fit was too tight. I had to take a screw driver and rotate it in the metal slot about every 3 inches in each slot to make it big enough to be able to force the panel in. Once in, both panels would definitely stay in. One of the other strips had the same problem. The next challenge was the slot in each frame that the panel assembly goes into. in each slot, there is a shallow notch that mates up with center strip and secures it in the slot. Unfortunately the slot did not line up with the metal strip so the strip would not go into the frame. So I had to take a very sharp wood chisel and shave each edge of the slot so it would allow the strip to enter the slot. To do the final assembly you need two people one to hold one side while the awning is pressed into the slot of one frame and the 2nd person to hold the other side of the awning. Once one frame is on one person holds it in place while the other part of the awning is pushed int the frame slot. At this point the assembly appears to be complete as far as the instructions are concerned. However if I tried to pick up the assemble one or both of the frames would spring off, as the awning was under pressure from the curvature of the awning panels and was basically spring loaded. So I got out my drill and drilled small holes through the frame at the end of each strip so a small sheet metal screw could be inserted to hold the frames securely to the awning. The assembly was now complete and nice and rigid. I later noticed 4 small screws in the package and assumed they were for securing the frames to the strips. However there were no references to these screws in the instructions and no predrilled holes. I gave this awning a 5 star rating because I liked the final result so much, it was well worth it for me. For others not so mechanically inclined, a handy relative or friend would be a great help.

Quality seems ok. Instructions are typical of translated instructions and not complete. But, item looks good and appears to be a good value! Custom made canopies for my windows were around 350 each at a local store, so $40 each for these was a much more attractive option. They have been installed for several weeks and appear to be doing well! I do admit - I used a few extra long screws through the bracket to wall. The enclosed bolts are decent, but one side was not in a stud and it just didn't 'feel' super secure, though it may have been.

We recently had to find a new awning setup (two 3-section units) after our previous one was destroyed. During a recent snow event, sleet turned into heavy ice, causing the old awning to fail under the weight and fall from the wall. To make matters worse, the original company no longer carries that product, leaving us with existing screw holes in our brick wall that we really wanted to reuse. We carefully measured our configuration and tried a couple of different brands, but they were all failures—either the holes didn't align with our brickwork, or the panels wouldn't connect securely to the brackets. We eventually found this Vevor awning. We were skeptical because of some negative reviews, but the dimensions looked the closest to our needs (7.25" between the bracket holes and 38.5" between brackets once assembled). It turned out to be an almost perfect match. Aside from the fit, the quality actually surprised us. The panels arrived well-protected by film on both sides, the fastening was quite secure, and the water drainage feature is quite effective. The only downside was that I was short a few screws, so I ended up using two of my own spares per unit. However, considering it finally matched our existing holes, that wasn't a major issue. Because it was so difficult to find a unit that actually fit our brick wall and handled the weather, we are considering to buy two extra awnings as backups in case of another severe ice storm (although we wish it wouldn't happen again!). Based on the quality and the price, I strongly recommend this.

Don’t touch this product: waist time & money: 1/ cheap, thin plastic covers are easily broken, melt in the sun and the wind can blow the plastic away. 2/ setup/assembly/parts are horrible. Need 2-3 people to hold the awning during setting up with thin glimpse plastics. Due to over 30 days return ‘cause I needed another hands to setup, after completing, I decided to I dump it to the trash can…what a terrible product!!!
