The good: material used is of quality, paint/finish is excellent. The bad: very poorly designed. Impossible to properly assemble because parts do not fit together. There are three significant issues. 1. There are only flat slates, the one at the curve needs to be fabricated by the manufacturer with a curve matching the side rails and center braces. The front slat, being flat, will not conform to the curve without forcing a separation with its adjoining slat. 2. The sum of all the slats properly adjoined will not created a distance sufficient to meet the depth requirement resulting in a gap between the last slat and the rain gutter. 3. The middle struts are too long. Installing them further forces a separation between the slats and misaligns the curved slat with the channel within the rain gutter forcing a bow of that slat relative to the channel. There is no fix on the consumer level. I would return it had I not bunged it up trying to modify it and force it to come together. In addition, it was delivered damaged by UPS. One end of the packaging had been ripped off exposing the contents. Five of the slats were peened over at their ends. Money waisted.

Extremely hard to put together by yourself. The trick I learned was to use. Awl to pry the screw holes down so they would align. The metal ends and center straps are hard to line up the screw holes. Love it though now that it’s up! Looks good , sturdy and is a nice amount of shade.

It looks great and is very sturdy. The instructions were difficult but we figured it out. It took 2 people about 90 minutes to put together and install on the house. There were no parts missing and it was packaged very well.

Well, the directions did not go in the order they needed to. Difficult to make the curve to screw in the right holes. They said you needed 4 washers and sent 2.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It looks like it was what we were looking for. Something to divert rain from coming on you as you enter Value for money: Poor. Item is cheeply made. I don't expect it to last more than a few years. Assembly was difficult, instructions are a joke.
