  • Paddle is a definite upgrade from my old one!
Color: Blue
I am an intermediate player who has previously played with a rimmed carbon fiber paddle. This new paddle is a huge upgrade from my previous paddle. It is very responsive with a large hitting area. I cannot swing full force or the ball goes out. It has a very durable surface with no signs of use or wear after 8 hours of play. The grit on the paddle allows for great spin and control. It is lightweight and comfortable in the hand. It comes with another color grip and a zippered protective case. I may not have improved skills, but this paddle makes me feel like I play better. ... show more

  • Pickeball Paddle - light blue
Color: Blue
Beautiful color, love the feel and power. Very smoothe. Great quality! If you like red, don't order the red, it's actually bright orange.

  • Good Quality and Performance
Color: Dark Blue
This paddle design is similar to a famous name brand model, which costs much more and perhaps has somewhat better construction/performance. Both have a thick 20mm core, aerodynamic bottom hole, and no protective edge border. I've never played with that name brand model, but have been using a different copycat for several months, which I like for its cushy feel and good control. This BKL BEIKALEN paddle is comparable to that one, with one notable exception. The dimensions are skewed towards power (longer and narrower) rather than control (wider and shorter), though I feel it still offers more control than power. It has a noticeable sweet spot that provides some nice pop, but the zone is a little smaller than my other paddle, which is wider and shorter. The good news is that the thick core makes it a competent and comfortable performer even outside that sweet spot, so my shots still go over the net despite sounding a little odd and feeling somewhat damp. Counterintuitively, thinner paddles (10mm to 14mm) typically offer more liveliness and power but can feel harsh, while thicker paddles (16mm to 20mm) provide a cushier feel with more control. The difference between 16mm to 20mm is noticeable, and almost luxurious, with no vibration or shock to the elbow or wrist. It may add a little weight, but I don't notice this during play, or if anything, it provides a little more oomph to my swing. Perhaps that aerodynamic hole helps improve quickness, though if not, at least it doesn't reduce surface effectiveness if you hit near it. Plus, the border-less design does optimize the hitting area, as does the elongated reach due to the slightly longer face and handle. Speaking of which, the handle is comfortable and provides good grip despite the wrap not having prominent ridges. The color and graphics of the paddle face are attractive, but more importantly, it's manufactured with T700 Japan Toray Carbon. That's typically better quality than the cheaper Chinese versions, and has a noticeable grit that imparts decent spin. I own this in both the blue and red (more like a red/orange that's very bright and sporty-looking) versions, which perform comparably. I'm an advanced male who plays regularly and owns or has tested well-over 20 paddles, including expensive name brands. Only time will tell about durability, but initial impressions are that this is a competent, comfortable performer at a very competitive price, especially since it includes a nice quality neoprene cover. It's best suited for those emphasizing control, though accurate players still can get off some powerful shots from the sweet spot. Aside from the weight (my blue weighs 8.3 oz. and red 8.4 oz.), which might be a drawback for some players, the added cushion of the thick core is a good choice for those wishing to minimize vibration or impact to their joints, or just prefer a luxurious feel. ... show more

  • Unbeatable Spin and Control - My New Favorite Paddle
Color: Dark Blue
After working my way through paddles at every price point - from big-box entry level to boutique models - I can honestly say this Carbon Fiber Paddle punches way above its weight class. I’m an intermediate player, logging plenty of court time each month, and this paddle instantly shot to the top of my rotation for one reason: it delivers serious high-end performance without the sticker shock. T700 Raw Carbon Fiber Face: Grit for Days The face of this thing is about as grippy as you’ll find on any USAPA-approved paddle. That textured, raw carbon surface absolutely bites into the ball, letting me generate wicked spin - topspin serves, third-shot drops, roll volleys, you name it. If you’re coming from a basic composite or fiberglass paddle, this is going to feel like a serious cheat code. It’s so good for spin that you’ll actually hear opponents grumble about your curveballs. YY32 20mm Polypropylene Core: Control Meets Pop The core is on the thicker side, which means better touch and more forgiveness. Dinks and resets feel plush and controlled, and blocks drop softly where I want them. Drives still have plenty of pop - sure, it doesn’t have quite the raw smack of a thin-core power paddle, but honestly, the consistency and control are worth the trade-off for my style. Weight, Balance, and Grip: Just Right The perfect weight for me - enough heft to put away shots but never feels like it’s dragging my arm down after a long session. Balance is slightly head-biased (in a good way), so you get that little extra punch on drives. The handle is longer than most, which is clutch if you like two-handed backhands or just want a little more reach. The comfort grip is lightly cushioned and sweat-absorbent; even in humid weather, it stays locked in my hand. No slippage, no drama. Design: Edge-Free and Sleek The rimless face and aerodynamic throat remind me of some of the big-name pro paddles. Swing speed is noticeably faster, and I get a full, uninterrupted hitting surface - no annoying edge guard to mess with my shots. The dark blue color is sharp and modern (I’m partial to it over the usual neon circus you see out there). Heads-up: some colors run a little off (the “red” is more orange), so check photos if you’re picky. Durability: Great...but Chips Will Happen Let’s keep it real - after a few games, you’re going to see some paint chips around the edges. That’s the tradeoff with a rimless, raw carbon design. For me, that’s a fair price to pay for the extra spin and clean feel, but if you want a pristine paddle forever, just be prepared for a little court rash. Performance Rundown (My Take): Spin: 10/10 – Best I’ve played, hands down. Control: 9/10 – Plush, consistent, forgiving. Power: 7.5/10 – Not the most explosive, but plenty for any intermediate game. Sweet Spot: Big. Mishits are more forgiving than most, and off-center shots stay in play. Aesthetics: The blue is slick. Paddle looks and feels like a pro tool, not a toy. The Bottom Line This paddle is a fantastic step-up for high-level beginners, intermediates, or anyone looking for a backup/practice paddle that doesn’t feel like a compromise. It genuinely holds its own against paddles two or three times the price, especially for control-focused and spin-happy players. My new go-to for games with the guys. If you’re moving up from a basic racket, prepare to be surprised. Highly recommended—unless you’re the type who wants their gear to stay showroom perfect forever. In that case, y’all might want to invest in a paddle cover… or just get two. ... show more
