I started playing pickleball several months ago and started with a wooden paddle from Walmart. While the paddle worked fine - especially as I was a beginner- I wanted to try something a step up without spending a lot of money. I didn't expect a lot from the paddles given the price and so I found myself quite happy about my investment once I started playing with them. The quality, balance and feel are very good especially given the price. They are an excellent value for a very good beginner/intermediate paddle set. I have since purchased other paddles to try and while my favorite is now a $130 carbon fiber paddle I own (it has a 5.5" handle length I love), I readily loan that paddle to others and use the paddles from this set with no deficit to my game. The weight, balance, and size of these paddles are on par with similar, slightly more expensive paddles that claim to be carbon fiber or graphite and sell at about $40 each or $75-$85 in a set; the play feels the same. The grip is decent - no problem there- and, again, it's on par with similarly priced and higher priced paddles. The bag and balls are a nice bonus. The bag is very basic and doesn't hold much more than the paddles but is nice to have (I have mine away after purchasing a larger padded bag that would hold more paddles, shoes, clothes...). The balls are basic but work very well; I have no problem with them but have found that many others don't want to use them because they are not Franklin X40s. The Franklin have smaller holes and are slightly harder but the balls provided still work great. I have purchased more, similar, balls as they work fine and are less expensive than the X40s but, to be honest, 90%+ of the time I play I am using the X40s because many players thumb their noses at and refuse to play with anything else (but they work fine!). Overall, I will say whole heartedly that this set is a great choice for the beginner and intermediate player! I am very happy with my purchase, continue to use these paddles in addition to my much more expensive one, and have recommended this set to many others now!

Awesome paddles for kids. My boys love them. Light weight, easy to swing and makes good contact. 7 and 8 year old are excited to use them every time we play. Good grip on handles and they seem pretty durable. Carry bag is good quality also.

We are new to the sport, but I think this is really a great value for our family to learn. The paddles have a nicely padded handle, which is very important to me. The set is packaged very well, with a nice storage bad. The best surprise was the lovely card that came with it, and knowing that the profits help the underprivileged, which made me feel even better about buying this set.

Solid, good. inexpensive. I've only played a handful of times and already prefer my name brand set, but these will hold up and I don't freak out if the kids use them to hit low balls on the street. case is handy. I wish I was skilled enough to compare them in terms of agility, responsiveness, or something clever, but I'm not there yet. These just didn't feel the same.

Great paddle-I love it! I’ve had some issues with tennis elbow but I love playing pickleball! and this paddle is lightweight and allows me to play comfortably. I also love the bag - perfect grab and go when I’m running (late!) out the door.

Was on vacation and discovered a couple of Pickleball courts in a park. I had tried to play a few years ago so decided while we were on our family vacation to order this set. I didn’t have high expectations giving the price point, but figured we were Nephites so why spend a lot of money until we knew if we were gonna really use it. I love it when I’m pleasantly surprised, and I felt that this product was a lot of value for the dollar the quality was much higher than expected, everyone enjoyed using the rackets. It came with a case and enough balls to do plenty of damage! I highly recommend if you’re just starting out getting a feel for the game and wanna dip your toe in the water without spending a lot of money. Got a nice note from the owner of the company asking for a review hence sharing these thoughts, nice touch.

Today my daughter and I played pickleball with this set. It was like the third time. So as you can see, we keep coming back. Keep on playing. Personally I enjoy the sound of the pickles hitting the balls. We like being purple together. We might like being blue vs purple. The colors are pleasing. Together we will now write a poem about it because we’re here at the park; bonding all thanks to this pickleball set. What are you? Look at this ant I see two pickles Two pickles Four balls Everyone loved hexagons I get shoulder pain Elbow pain But not from this.
