I needed a desk that would fit most of my spare room for a combo work, sewing and soldering setup. This fit the bill so much better than I could have hoped for and I simply could not have made a desk for the price of this setup. It's very well built and has an excellent metal frame support that makes the desk top super solid. It was not hard to set up at all and the instructions were pretty well done. I will say, that you really need to pay attention to the way the holes line up on the diagram as I did have a couple of oopsies on the very next step due to missing that. But all in all, it's an awesome desk. Keep in mind, the box for this is almost 80lbs. You will need a helper to move it and your shipper will be super happy to have your help unloading it like mine did. The ability to choose what type of layout you want is what sold me on this desk and it fits my room very well. One more thing, if you want the led lights to stay up, clean the surface area with rubbing alcohol before applying the leds. I have had my lights on 24/7 for over 2 weeks now and they are still stuck fine. ... show more

Absolutely fantastic desk. This thing is big, gorgeous, and sturdy. Took about 4 hours to build by myself (with multiple distractions). Simple to build with good instructions. I love that the top drawer locks. I didn't receive one broken or missing part, and it came 8 days early! The picture is it assembled straight out of the box. No windex or pledge or anything, that's the stock finish. I have 2 27" monitors on the shelf and they fit perfectly. The only small issue is the LEDs. I don't have a problem with them sticking, but then again it's only been 2 hours. I think people may be peeling the entire double-sided tape off of the glue on the lights instead of peeling the double-sided tape. There's a very thin blue cover on the tape you need to peel off. My issue is the color. I was expecting the white to be 3000k warm white light. It's not even close. Not even a 6000k white. It is blue. Like in the stock photo. But that being said, that is not even remotely close to a reason to ding this desk. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Take your time, build it correctly, and you'll absolutely love it. ... show more

Overall this desk is amazing. Most desks you buy online are very cheaply made and have really bad quality. Not this desk. The boards feel like actual wood instead of particle board, it had a completely different knock sound compared to particle board. The desk is pretty big and it even states that it's a big size. It's pretty easy to build by yourself so you don't need to have someone over to help. That being said, the screws used to hold everything together are cheap and the heads strip easily. If you can find the same size bolts and screws used, buy them from a hardware store because they'll be a higher quality than what was supplied. there's small discrepancies which is going to happen when ordering online. I received 2 poles that were bent at the bolt hole, but they were easy enough to bend back into place. Not every hole lines up correctly but that could be just the set I received. Overall, I'm quite happy with the desk. just makes sure you buy longer cables for your computer so your cable management looks good ... show more

After reading a variety of reviews( most bad) i took a chance and I love it. All parts available, they are also clearly marked making assembly go much faster. It's the perfect hight for me making if comfortable and it's not so wide i can't reach stuff. I got the brown wood look and looks fabulous. I found the delivery box was very damaged when delivered however I didn't find any damaged parts. I feel like this desk is a good sturdy and beautiful. So the value is great. ... show more

Got this for my boyfriend who desperately needed more desk space but also needed to fit our fairly small office along with my desk. The fact that this set up for this was so diverse is what really sold me. It allowed us to decide to have a couple of options for the shape that would work best. In the end we stuck with the U shape and so far it's great! It did take about 2 hours to put together just one person doing it. The assembly was easy and instructions were straight forward. The light strip looks really cool and has a remote for color change options. The strip doesn't really want to stick in one spot so we will need to do some extra taping. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this desk for anyone who might need more surface area but still has a small space. ... show more

I am very happy to add this piece to my computer room. The wood color and feel is very nice and feels sturdy and it is spacious. I never noticed it did not have a keyboard tray though, and that was a little disappointing to find out when I put together. It would be nice also if the monitor rack was a little wider for monitor support. The monitor rack also should have the option to install in any of the 3 table pieces. The electric outlet is working, but not the usb connector/chargers, so my led lights did are not working and I cannot charge my phone with them. I contacted the seller, and they were prompt in offering a competitive discount, which they processed immediately with no hassle. After writing this review, I keep looking around this nice piece of furniture and cannot find anything else that could be an inconvenience or disappointment. Nice purchase. ... show more
