  • Great paddle for intermediate to advanced players.
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
I love this paddle, it has enough power enough pop and for dinking and resets it’s a dream. I understand the hype of gen 4 paddles I own some my self. But I play my best pickleball with this gen3 paddle. to be honest I do think it’s worth the money. But remember if your form or mechanics is not good it doesn’t matter what paddle you have. Yes i keep hearing about core crushing but so far I haven’t had that problem and I have a 1 year warranty so I’m ok with that. And all the people reporting getting used or fake paddles idk it seems like some scams or something is happening. But mine was perfect in great new condition. ... show more

  • Joola has no honor! Joola has no honor!
Size: 16mm Color: Magnus
This is a great paddle out of the box. The problem is that like all Joola paddles, they deteriorate within 6 months (usually less) and Joola will send you the same paddle and retain your original warranty date, so when the replacement inevitably deteriorates, they will not honor a warranty date for the new paddle, only the old. This JUST happened to me today. I got a replacement sent at the end of January, they said that 90 deterioration is normal wear and tear. I have bought a lot of Joola paddles, but will not purchase so much as a keychain from them going forward. Every one of my Joola paddles has deteriorated. 3 The Gen2's edge guard is notoriously defective, the S3's are illegal to use in competition, the Gen4's core crushes prematurely and the carbon fiber face splits. Pics included. I suggest a Selkirk or Franklin C45 paddle. The pros use them, they last waaaaaaay longer and customer service is better. ... show more

  • Power and Spin = Insane, Control = Learning Process Power and Spin = Insane, Control = Learning Process
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
The Joola Pro IV is an insane paddle that I have been using for many sessions. I would argue that the paddle is best for power and spin, but once you reign in that power and spin, I believe you can attain incredible control. Let me share more: Control: When it comes to control, the Joola Perseus Gen 4 is a standout. From my very first session dinking with a 4.0 DUPR friend, I noticed how consistently I could place the ball exactly where I wanted. The paddle’s carbon fiber face delivered a precise, predictable feel. While some brands chase an edgeless design, Joola opted for a slimmer edge guard, and I actually prefer it. It didn’t interfere with my shots and instead gave me a comfortable frame of reference, reinforcing the paddle’s surgical accuracy on soft game shots. Power: When my friend, already known for his strong serve, tried it, his shots became outright explosive. I experienced the same boost, even with the 16mm version, which I initially thought might sacrifice power for control. It didn’t. The Gen 4’s construction generates impressive pop without requiring overexertion, making it a legitimate contender for my list of the best paddles for power after testing more than 60 models. It’s a rare combination of power that feels both natural and easy to tap into. Spin: The spin potential on the Joola Perseus Gen 4 rivals top-tier paddles like the Volair Mach 2 Forza. My serves with right-to-left spin moved a good six inches from the drop point, while still maintaining significant pace. That’s not something every paddle can pull off. This level of spin control extends beyond serves to dinks, drops, and drives, giving it “Swiss army knife” versatility. Whether I’m hitting a soft third shot or a heavy topspin drive, the paddle consistently delivers the grip and bite needed to shape the ball. The only downside? The price tag almost broke my budget. ... show more

  • Versatile paddle
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
The paddle is very versatile. It has a large sweet spot, generates a good deal of power at impact; and can grow with you as your improve your pickleball skills. It was well worth the investment.

  • Poor quality and worse customer service.
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
This paddle was great until it wasn’t. I loved this paddle until it completely fell apart and core crushed beyond usability. Joola, rather than building brand loyalty, told me that my paddle was 29 days beyond my six month warranty and offered no solution other than “buy another one”. Well, I did buy another one - but not Joola. If I’d understood that their paddles were a “consumable” for $300 - I would have made a better initial choice and researched brands that stand behind their products with the intent of a long term relationship with the consumer/recreational player. ... show more

  • Great First Pickleball Paddle
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
I’m new to pickleball, and this is my first paddle. So far, I’m very happy with it. It feels comfortable in my hand, is easy to control, and has helped me enjoy learning the game. The design is also very attractive and stands out on the court. Overall, a great choice for beginners.

  • Love it but handle too small
Size: 16mm Color: Perseus
Great paddle! Love the sound it makes when struck properly. I did get tennis elbow from it and think it was from a smaller circumference handle that made me squeeze too hard. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Very disappointed O had to give up using it.
