I'd been playing with the Joola Anna Bright 14mm padel which I really liked. I'm a male player with plenty of power. The Anna Bright padel had been my wife's until she got a new replacement. The local pickleball instructor suggested that, when I bought a new padel, to get a 16mm for additional control. So, after playing with the Anna Bright padel, I bought myself the Pro V in the 16mm. I immediately liked the padel. It has plenty of power and seems to provide a measure of additional touch and control at the kitchen line. The Joola padels are excellent.

Fantastic paddle. I didn’t think it would make a lot of difference, but I was wrong. You get solid, powerful shots across the entire paddle. Very solid construction. Well balanced feel; great grip. Worth the money.

Context: 3.0 player (because I make bad decisions), about 2 years experience no racquet sport background, play 3-5 times a week, over 55. I bought one of the $300 Selkirk "labs" paddles and I couldn't handle it - too much pop, hitting the ball off the cutout; I'm still not good enough to play with it a year later. I've been playing with a bread and butter filth which I really like. My son had the new Kosmos and let me borrow it - I added a hesacore gel and tournagrip overwrap to it (see pic). Immediately I noticed that my returns weren't going out as much as i was able to get more controlled power and topspin. At the kitchen better control on my dinks - and my speedups up the middle were catching a lot of people by surprise (and spinning down near the back of the court). And hard to determine as I took a class that helped me with my 3rd shot drops with his paddle - but when I was in the right position (waiting for the ball to apex) it was very easy to guide the ball into the kitchen. Sweet spot seems pretty big. The nice box came with 3 clear edge guards and two extra overwraps, nice touch; plus a few stickers (pic). To mine I added the hesacore but used one of the Joola overwraps (see pic), looks really cool and I like the feel of it, we'll see what happens when I use it later today. Trying to register the paddle through a web browser didn't work, I switched to the Joola app and that did the trick. Overall - I've played about 12 hours with my son's paddle and REALLY like it, it's my favorite paddle so far. Others have included CRBN 1X, 11six24 hybrid.

Paddle came in an attractive box with stickers and grip tape. Now for the paddle itself. I really like the feel and balance and I can’t seem to find a dead spot on it so touch shots have a very consistent feel and result.

I tried cancelling my order within 30 minutes of placing the order but Joola said it could not be canceled. I contacted Amazon and they said they cancelled the order and gave me a cancellation reference number, but the product shipped, and Joola now says the product cannot be returned. Horrible lack of customer service. Amazon was great and credited the purchase price, but JOOLA WAS AWFUL.

It's a great, top shelf paddle. love the handle shape (more flat than round, makes it easy to aim the paddle) excellent control - drives pop and resets stall - very accurate. Comes with extra clear edge tape and a replacement grip cover.in a VERY fancy box that will never be used after the unboxing. For over $300, it should come with a cover. Can't do five stars with no paddle cover included.
