The weight is ideal not too light or too heavy and the large sweet spot makes shots feel solid, consistent, and powerful. This pickleball paddle was a Christmas gift for my 10 year old who loves playing pickleball often. This a great paddle for people of all ages and skill level. Since he has owned it, I’ve been told the paddle is excellent quality, very lightweight (compared to his previous paddle) and it has a good handle grip. He also noted how much better he is able to hit the ball with more accuracy, more power hitting the ball, & can get more speed/spin on the ball. Since I’m not a pickleball player, I searched through many Amazon reviews in order to make a good decision for this gift. I’m glad he loves it and he said it’s a high quality paddle. I was very glad to find this nice of a pickleball paddle at a really good price during Amazon Prime days.

This is my first "real" pickleball paddle. I started off with a fiberglass paddle that came in a starter kit containing 4 paddles. That set cost around $70. Being new to pickleball, I didn't know much about it. The fiberglass paddles are super slick and I could barely get a spin on the ball, unlike my opponents who had other paddles. After looking at some of theirs and watching some YouTube reviews, I decided to get this Tenvina. It was literally a game changer. The quality of the paddle is high and the carbon fiber surface is well textured. I am able to put a good spin on the balls and the sweet spot is also improved over the budget paddle. I guess technically The Tenvina is a budget paddle as well, but it doesn't feel like one. When comparing it to name brand paddles on the court, the quality feels similar even though it might be half the cost of others. It performs pretty well and I am able to hit difficult balls with ease. This is definitely a great starter paddle. I purchased a Joola paddle on Black Friday to see if that is another step up, but so far the Tenvina has not disappointed. This a perfect beginner's paddle if you are getting started and don't want to spend a ton on your first paddle.

Paddle has the perfect balance of weight and shape. The grip is optimal and the textured paddle face is great for controlled top spin and accuracy of shots. I think this is a great paddle for beginners without breaking the bank, yet solid and enough control for more advanced players.
