my cat didn’t like the lid. i feel like if i put the lid on nothing would change, except my cat not liking it. i like the stainless steel. since i dont have the lid on i cant really test to the odor control. the size is good as it is small but still big enough for him. cleaning it is easy as i just wipe it down. durability: it’s steel so it’s stronger and better than cheaper alternatives. i like the scoop on the side and i like the storage on the size. ... show more

I wanted to switch my cat’s litter box from plastic to stainless steel and after endlessly browsing, figured this one was the best for its size and cost. Unfortunately, my cat has a tendency to (I assume) point her bottom upward when urinating so it would leak out the top seam of the plastic top. We tried different ways to adjust the cover itself, but the pan itself is just too low. This isn’t a product issue, it’s a cat issue. Otherwise, the only issue I had with it was that the top was a bit difficult to remove from the pan when it was time to clean. It definitely helped with the smell of litter, was large enough for my 12 lb cat to comfortably get in/out of it and the little step at the entrance helped control litter tracking. ... show more

This litter box is durable and the steal container is what I expected. It has helped a lot with the odor in comparison to an open air litter box. The litter mat was a nice extra touch and has worked well. Nothing fancy but much nicer than your average $20 litter box. Happy with the money I spent. It also has a good look to it, modern. It really isn't as big as I was hoping for. Overall a good box, so far, but not as easy to clean as a box where the entire lid comes off in one piece. I wouldn't buy it again, but so far no regrets yet.
