UPDATE: 08-26-2022 Thankfully, a lot of my initial horror story with this was dealt with amazingly well. They were able to ship a new treadmill over within days, and I have been using it for the past two weeks. While the customer service has been absolutely wonderful, the same unfortunately cannot be said about the treadmill, and I will be forced to return the item. The treadmill's design has an odd characteristic that even as much as I try to lower the back side of the machine, while raising the two more forward feet as high as I can (to the point where I am at risk of the feet actually falling off during use), the treadmill still has a slight decline. Initially, I thought a downhill angle was a positive benefit to the item, after running on it for a few times and researching online, apparently downhill running can inexplicably cause more severe leg pain, and that is what I have been experiencing. Additionally, if you are like my sister, and on the shorter side (she is 5'0", someone who is a target buyer of the product, as it is a compact machine), the bar unfortunately rests at a height that is too high, causing her to constantly smack it with her hands while running, leaving her with bruises. Again, the 5 stars is for the customer service, which has been excellent, once they were made aware of the issue, but the machine has it's issues that we weren't able to notice until we got the new machine and actually actually able to use it. These treadmills go through very short refresh cycles, and I'm sure that a future machine could hopefully fix these problems, at which point, we would be more than happy to purchase then. ---------- ORIGINAL REVIEW ----------- Like many people wanting to get fit from all the pandemic pounds, but not wanting to risk going to a public gym, I purchased this treadmill. What initially drew me to this exact model was the fact that it was compact enough to fit in my small home, had an attachable table, and a more powerful motor that could go up to 8.6mph (not that I can consistently run at that speed, it's just good to know that the motor is strong enough to reach those speeds, meaning I can use it at a slightly lower speeds without fear of burning out the motor, as I intended to use this machine on a regular basis). I was so sold on the design and what I was going to use it for, that I purchased it with the additional 2 year warranty, paying nearly $550. The order arrived to my home surprisingly quick, and as you can see from the photo, despite it weighing nearly 90 pounds, the treadmill was packed very securely, and the box had minimal damage other than some scrapes expected from shipping. However, once I carefully unboxed the treadmill, set it on the floor, plugged it in (and flipped the power supply switch on the machine itself), I was surprised to find that nothing was happening. As I inspected the treadmill, I eventually was horrified to find out that the cable which runs from the motor to the controls/display along the right side of the handlebar has been completely severed, rendering the whole thing completely useless (seen in the photo attached). There is no possible way that the process of opening the box or unwrapping the item could have cut the cable, as it is located about an inch from the edge of the packaging; it was packed into the box with the cable already cut. I tried to reach out to Amazon to get a replacement or a refund, but was told that since this item is sold and shipped by a third party, they cannot do anything, and I would have to contact the seller directly, but was told that the seller may offer a prepaid shipping label. I do not have a vehicle to put this giant 90 pound box into, so the item would have to be picked up, which could potentially have additional costs. I am putting this review out here to inform potential buyers that this item is NOT SOLD BY AMAZON and that should any issues arise, you are potentially at risk for paying more money on top of what you have spent for what should have been a perfectly functioning brand new item (especially if you do not have a vehicle that can hold a 5 by 3 foot 90 pound box). I eventually called Amazon Customer Care, who were able to also reach out to the seller in addition to my original message, and am waiting to hear back. I will provide further updates to my customer service experience with the original seller and Amazon as I hear more.

I got this because I love to walk but the weather is hit or miss in the mid west. I chose this exact model due to the possibility to also run with it and it has been perfect for me! I run about an 8-9 minute mile. I did purchase a thin rubber mat to put under it to protect my wood floor and give me a little more cushion when I run. The mat has helped to cut down on a lot of the sound. It is a little heavy to lift and slide in and out from under my bed every time but I manage it just fine. It is heavier than some of its competitors but I do believe its because its made out of better quality material to make it possible to truly run on it. The only negative I have found is its a little short from front to back. I'm 5'2 and I have to pay attention and stay up towards the front or I am quickly sliding off the back. It doesn't bother me too much but I could imagine if I were taller that may be more of an issue. I have not tried to desk part on it because I have to be to far forward for it to be on while running. It also seems like it would be to short to actually be able to comfortably type or anything on it with how low it sits. Overall its perfect for me and what I need it for.

Had it for a bit now so we can fully review it. Size is decent. Setup relatively easy. Problem is, like many many have alluded to (on this and other models from the same company), the motor gets blazing hot. Even with proper maintenance, it get progressively worse. Maybe it is okay if you set it to 1mph, but that's not we do. The tread is also very dangerous in that is slips causing miss footing. We have adjusted the tension many times and it still happens. And the burning smell of plastic and rubber is horrible.

I have had this treadmill for 4 months now and I use it nearly every day, usually for like 30 minutes - 1.5 hours. It's been a WONDERFUL addition to my daily routine, especially as someone who works from home. I almost always use the desk attachment with it and I'll have my work laptop or personal laptop open while walking, sometimes both at the same time! I only walk at 1.8mph-2.6mph. I have never used it for running or even fast walking because that's not my vibe so I cannot attest to those features. Pros: -Easy to fold away/stow under my bed and quick to put back up -It gets me to exercise!! -The desk feature is fantastic but a little short for me at 5'6" HOWEVER I bought a lap desk from Amazon that I place on top which makes the desk feature ergonomic! (Rossie Home Wood Bed Tray Lap Desk with Detachable Cushion, Serving Tray - Soft White - Fits up to 15.6 Inch Laptops - Style No. 76101") -It. gets. me. to. exercise. I cannot emphasize this enough. Cons: -Gets hot after being on for a bit, has ruined the bottoms of my rubber shoes (SIKELO brand from Amazon "Slippers for Women and Men Quick Drying Bathroom Shower Waterproof Sandals Open Toe Soft Cushioned Extra Thick Non-Slip Massage Pool Gym House Slipper for Indoor & Outdoor") Now, should I be wearing rubber slides to exercise? probably not, but not having to change into exercise shoes gets me to actually exercise so I will not be changing this habit -The grounding prong of the outlet snapped off after about 3 months BUT customer service was wonderful and sent me an entirely new replacement cord -The power cord is pretty short, but I bought a 3-prong extension cord at Home Depot so that solved that Pro/Con: -When the desk attachment is on, the numbers are all hidden in terms of how fast you're walking and how long you've been walking. I consider this both a pro and a con depending on how you spin it. It makes it a little inconvenient to change speeds, however, it also means I can completely forget about the fact that I'm exercising and I consider that a major pro. All in all, I'd say this treadmill was the best investment I've ever made towards my health/fitness levels! Would highly recommend!!
