Very easy to assemble with a partner. Took less than 40 minutes. Instructions were straight forward. Performance of machine is excellent although it sucks that to use streaming entertainment you have to sign up for membership.

I’ve had quite a few treadmills (Nordic tracks, golds gym treadmills) and this is hands down the absolute worst device. The only plus is the large belt. That’s it. -goes up .5mph from what it’s set to then back down to what you set (so if I’m warming up at 4 it’ll go to 4.5 then slowly go down to 4 (start at 0). -restarts randomly mid workout no warning, no rhyme or reason -workouts on Jrny have to be manual set for speed and don’t auto to match the program. -not sturdy feeling console -all the buttons on the console sound nice but literally I’m constantly bumping them because placement is terrible. I wouldn’t pay 800 for this much less 1200. ☹️

This is for the T7 Model. I have had terrible luck twice with both Adidas and Rebook treadmills, so this is my third in 5 years. ( both priced MSRP just below $1000) I spent a lot of time researching this on Prime Day before buying. This model is a "retailer only" so it is pretty hard to find information across the internet, as well as it being a newer unit. The BIGGEST concern for me, was durability followed by expense. I rather spend a bit more on this, than get a sub $1000 treadmill just to have issues down the road. Positives: 1. Large Rollers, much larger than most residential treadmills, at 2.75". For runners it is recommended at least 2.25" rollers. Large rollers reduce wear on the bearings, require less tension on the belt, less or no belt hesitation, and longer belt life. Cheaper Treadmills can be as small as 1.5". 2. Triple Ply Belt - cheaper treadmills often have a 1 or 2 ply belt, which reduces its longevity and makes it prone to wear quicker. 3. Push button Drop - I keep my treadmill in mu living room, so it is folded when not in use. The Bowflex system is nice, as rather than having to "kick" the piston, it as a locking mechanism released by the giant red button. This provides a much easer way to lower the deck than a traditional treadmill where you must kick/push the piston inward while lifting to get the locking to release. 4. Heart Rate Monitor - this includes a arm worn heart rate monitor that matches my Apple Watch reading almost exactly. It allows for a readout of your heart rate on the screen, which is convenient. 5. Quiet Operation - This is set right again the wall of a bedroom, and they can't hear it in operation, even with a light jog, so that is great if you worry about disturbing others. 6. Warranty - The warranty is on par with what I expect for a treadmill over $1000 7. Fan - although it is weak, this is the FIRST out of 3 treadmills I can actually feel the fan. It isn't super powerful, but it is enough that you can feel it. 8. Assembly - SUPER easy. Took me less than 45 minutes from boxes to assembled Negatives: 1. Plenty of storage / space, but awkward design - the places for water bottles was not though out, it seems like it was an afterthought. plenty of space, it just all has a weird design and layout 2. Plastic trim is garbage - All of the trim for the legs and arms, is poorly designed, feels cheap, and is awkward to install. I spent more time on the trim pieces during assembly than anything else. 3. JRNY - although I didn't have issues getting started without a membership ( many JRNY products seems to lock out users prompting for a subscription) it is overpriced and locks the streaming apps behind this paywall. Not huge for me, because I use a 12" iPad, but this would upset me a bit more had I bought one of the upper models with larger screens, and was unable to use half the functions without a subscription. Overall, I have owned this for a week and am happy. Time will tell if it holds up. The delivery guy said this was the heaviest he had delivered ( which I can attest it is hefty, as I helped get it up stairs). It is a shame that Bowflex / Nautilus has locked streaming apps behind a JRNY membership. This removed any temptation for me to buy one of the ones with a huge display, as it would be useless without a JRNY membership. I will update this review after 6 months of ownership.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this treadmill. But not even a month went by of having it and the screen stopped working. It is covered under warranty, but it took over a month for the item to get to me. Now scheduling with their technician is even more of a pain because I guess it’s not his only job so I have to work around his typical job schedule. Just so much pain for something I have had less than 2 months and to cost as much as it does. When it did work though—- it is very comfortable. Love the adaptable workouts and the fact that I can just choose a manual workout and adjust the speed/incline myself Cons: cannot workout without the screen working so the fact that it went out so easy is a big con for me.

Incredible treadmill. I’ve used plenty of the old school treadmills just to be left bored, in pain, and feeling hopeless. This treadmill has it all. From the touchscreen, USB port, storage rack, fans, JRNY subscription offerings, easy lift and descent for storage, shock absorbers, and more it has it all. The most noteworthy feature is in the shocks on the belt. It’s not the top feature advertised but when comparing running outside on the concrete to running on the treadmill the treadmill is MUCH more forgiving. I tried out the free JRNY subscription and really enjoyed the classes. I liked the HIIT training courses the best as they felt like they went by quicker as we changed speeds and climb rates frequently. I am very proud to say this Bowflex help me go from inactive to signing up and running in my first 5K in a matter of 2 months The only thing I don’t like about the treadmill is there is no easy way to just jump on and start jogging. It requires wifi and you have to start a program to even get the belt moving. Sometimes I just want to get going and it’s minutes before I can get the treadmill working. Also the Bluetooth heart rate sensor is spotty and doesnt have good tracking metrics. If that’s important to you just get an Apple Watch. Overall I’ve put on 40+ miles on the treadmill and hope to get over 100 very soon! I would strongly recommend this Bowflex treadmill.

After 3 weeks of use, my overall impression of this treadmill is it's a really solid machine, capable of standing up to a big dude using it every day. It has a number of nice features like Bluetooth, a great display, easy to operate controls, the soft touch deck lowering feature, and multiple profiles for different users to track workouts. I haven't had a chance to check out the JRNY app but it looks interesting. I definitely recommend this treadmill to anyone looking for a solid home machine. If you want to read a whole bunch more about my experience with it and what I think, read on. I've owned a couple of consumer grade treadmills, the most recent being an Image10.0, and used commercial grade treadmills at 24HR Fitness and for me the Bowflex T7 treadmill falls in the space between these, and closer to the commercial machines I've used than the home machines.. I'm 6'2" and 260lbs so I'm already pushing the limits of many inexpensive home treadmills. I think the Image was 250lbs max. The Bowflex T7 is big, with a thick steel frame that offers a lot of rigidity for the large running platform. The Image 10.0 always felt like it was going to collapse if I got to a good stride, the Bowflex T7 is it is rated for 350lbs and is rock solid at a good jog for me. It has enough give that it's not like running on concrete but it is consistently firm under foot and really appreciate that. So in that respect it is more like a commercial machine for me. Where it falls short of the commercial machines is in the console and controls. Commercial machines have solid consoles that you could drop a bowling ball on and not hurt them a bit. The Bowflex console is pretty solid but could definitely be damaged, especially the tablet, in my opinion. That said, compared to the Image 10.0 the Bowflex console is much sturdier, easy to use, and has tons of space for storage. Set up of the Bowflex T7 it was very straightforward, although it is helpful to have 2 people when assembling it since there are some pretty heavy bits to this thing. My wife and I assembled it in just a few hours and got it in to the place we wanted it pretty easily. When it is folded up a strong person can move it solo and with 2 people it's a really easy to get it exactly where you want it. The soft open deck is fantastic! I really mean that. My mother in law has no problem unfolding this thing. You basically push the deck release button and it lets itself down nice and gently. We powered it on and it went through setup, connected to WiFi and immediately downloaded the latest software. Here is my first and almost only gripe with this machine. Setup will not continue unless you connect it to WiFi. It doesn't make you sign up for an account or anything but until you connect it to the internet setup will not complete and you can't use the machine. I pared my phone to the built in speakers (which sound pretty OK for small speakers) and went for a walk in my living room. One problem I've always had with home treadmills is slow speeds (1-2mph) and the belt slowing as I take a stride, presumably because the motor lacks torque at those low power levels. The Bowflex T7 doesn't falter at slow speeds. This is great because my mother in law has been using the treadmill daily, and would not use the Image10 treadmill because it threw her off balance with the fluctuating speeds. This Bowflex T7 is great for helping her keep active. I've been using the T7 daily for jog/walk intervals and couldn't be happier. I've set it up in the living room and can catch up on shows to YouTube while I get in a few miles during lunch. Covid closed my gym and they aren't opening back up so having this solid treadmill in my home is fantastic. As I mentioned the belt does great at maintaining a constant speed and the incline feature is smooth and works really well. Speed can be controlled at a 1mph increments using the number buttons and a 0.1mph increment using the up and down arrows so I can really dial in exactly the speed I want. The arms for the the console are also very solid, which gives me confidence when using the side rails for support or doing a pulse check with the built in sensors. In all this is a very beefy treadmill. The console itself is quite large with big pockets for TV remotes, water bottles, phones, or even a tablet. When my console screen worked correctly it had a decent readout with a speedometer type readout of speed and numbers for distance, time, calculated calorie burn and heart rate if you have the monitor on, or grab the sensors on the handles. It's easy to read and responds well to touch. I think it would be awkward to watch a show on, however, because it is only a 7" screen and being as tall as I am I would have to be looking nearly straight down. I'll mention the Bluetooth one more time here because I like that it allows me to pair a phone and stream a music app without having to pay for the JRNY subscription. It has a couple of built in workouts, like a basic interval mode and a full manual mode, but the bulk of the guided workouts you could do on this machine require a JRNY app paid subscription. That's my second and much less significant gripe. If I want to use any of the streaming stuff built in to the treadmill, like YouTube or Disney+ or whatever, I have to have a paid JRNY subscription. I get having the guided workouts behind a paywall but let me stream services I already pay for on the tablet that already has the apps without having to pay a "gateway" fee. That said, as I previously mentioned I wouldn't be comfortable watching a show on the screen while running so this is a non-issue for me, I have a 55" TV right in front of me for that, but worth mentioning for anyone who wants to use the screen for apps. So bottom line, this treadmill is strong, has a lot of nice, useful features and I expect I will enjoy it for many years to come.
