In the past I have bought the woven hammocks but last year we left it outside (bad bad bad) and so my hammock had to be replaced. I thought I would try a cloth one instead of the woven type and I am so very glad I did. It is much more comfortable to me - perhaps because it holds it shape and doesn't give and sag under your body form like the woven one did. I think it is just preference. But from now on I won't buy a woven one again after having discovered how comfortable this one is. It is also easier to get out of though I think getting out of a hammock is a lot like trying to get off a pool float - no one can do it gracefully!!! ... show more

I love the look and it's big and comfortable but I haven't found a hammock stand big enough for it. The one I purchase that says it's for Xlarge hammock is not big enough... You are just about hitting the ground

Compared to the last, pricier hammock I had, this hammock is more attractive looking, more comfortable, and easier to assemble & hang. I like that it comes with everything you need to position it between two sturdy trees (as I am using it), or on a stand if you have one. The tree straps are well made and strong, but I don't know how much weight they will actually hold. I'm about 130 lbs. and it works fine for me; I have not tested it beyond my own weight. The hammock is supposed to accommodate 2 people, but I don't think that would be comfortable unless they are children. However, it is plenty roomy for one adult. The price is outstanding for all you get. I put a small pillow in the storage bag and my hammock is now the perfect backyard napping place. :-D ... show more
