Works great for tie rods, but couldn't get it to separate a 2015 Toyota Camry lower ball joint without slipping off. Had to resort to a pickle fork and replace the ball joint.

Falls apart constantly, reamed itself out and doesn't reach anyways.

Worked perfectly, much better than a pickle fork. It was tapped too wide for the existing bolt, so the tool felt cheap and will probably break with extended use. Maybe another bolt will make it work better

This is a well designed and built tool. Once in place it is quit easy to remove the ball joints. I think the cost is a little high until you have the tool in hand then it becomes worth the price paid.
