This tool is very easy to use and effective. There's many options to remove inner tie rods. None are perfect and they don't all work in every situation. This is one of the many tools to do the job and it's cheap and effective most of the time. Keep the threads greased and clamp down evenly. I'd recommend this tool ... show more

I bought this tool for those inner tie rods without a hex on them for removal. So far it has worked out great. I have used it twice in the past week and it worked both times!! For about 15 bucks you can't beat what this tool can do!

    • Inner Tie Rod Clamp Style Tool Worked perfect on my 2012 Explorer.
I originally tried to use a tube style loaner tool from a local parts house, but it did not want to do the job. As soon as this clamp style tool arrived it clamped on perfectly to the inner tie rod on my Explorer and removed it with ease. Great tool for the price!
